Apple Store 5s Orders are Preparing for Shipment

This is very possible. I'm still leaning towards most of these phones coming from China, but we shall soon find out!

Has anyone tried tracking by reference at Fedex yet? I just tried and couldn't find anything.
My 64 GB Space ATT is preparing for shipment. I ordered in the first 10 minutes.
64GB Space Gray. Considered going to the local Apple Store on Friday but am now glad I didn't (talked with a guy who got in line at 6:30AM and it took him 4 hours to get through the line)
I feel like the only one left in "Processing Items" world.

Mine is still being processed too. But of course, they charged it to my card immediately on Friday.
Edit: Estimated deliver Sept. 27-Oct. 1, by the way.
I have a 64 GB phone on order through Apple but walked into an AT&T store on Friday afternoon and had no issue getting one. They had plenty of stock.
I didn't cancel the order with Apple however because my wife wants it now.
There were plenty of iPhones available at various locations (not just the Apple store). You just needed to look around.
I feel like the only one left in "Processing Items" world.

you are. mine's prepared for shipment. whatever that really means. to me in reality there are two states. shipped. and not shipped. and right now its still in the not shipped state?
Is everyone getting updated to expedited shipping? I've been reading yes and no. since I paid the extra $10 should I call apple and ask for a refund on the shipping if everyone is getting it for free? I would obviously wait until the phone is on it's way.
Eh. They did mine free but made it clear its a one-time thing and my account is annotated. Just use it next year.

It bumps it by exactly one day actually. At least in theory.
I always saw this date as generous and expected the phone sooner. Apple likes surprise and delight. That seemed like a vey conservative estimate to cover their bases just incase. I would expect midnight orderers to start receiving phones mid next week.
Seems like plenty of people have gotten items way early than Apple estimates. My iPad last year came a week before it's estimated delivery.
Plus, it's the next step in it getting in your hands.
Silver is preparing for shipment, whereas the gold is still processing.
