Apple Store 5s Orders are Preparing for Shipment

Mine too. From China and expected Tuesday from UPS. This is a week earlier than I expected it! Standard shipping from Apple.
On Tuesday my iPhone 4 will go next to my iPhone 3GS in my iPhone museum. Not really, no museum, just a drawer.
Unbelievable, that actually worked. Mine shows Preparing for Shipment per Apple, but my using the method above, I see it has been shipped and due for delivery by End of Day Tuesday, coming from China.

Are you able to pre-sign for it? UPS notorious for not dropping off if no one is home.
I paid the $10 for expedited shipping and it will be delivered on Tuesday, too (East Coast).

Thanks. I'm seeing a few posts by people that chose standard shipping that are also getting theirs on Tuesday. They really shouldn't have offered expedited if everyone's going to get it on the same day anyway.

Hope the 64GB models ship soon. Looks like 16 and 32s were first out the door.

Mine is a 64GB silver & it has shipped.
I agree that they should not have charged the expediting fee if it does not make a difference. Since I get the phone 3 days earlier than expected, they can keep my $10.

I think you'll get a refund if you ask. I didn't notice whether expedited shipping was offered for my order because I just wanted to hit the button to order asap because at the time I didn't know if they'd sell out in 3 minutes. The fine print could have said that I'd make $399 installments for a year and I wouldn't have seen it

Glad to know I wasn't the only person who missed the expedited shipping option for the same reason.

Presign should be possible but...
I have an "established" signature on file so my UPS driver will leave packages. The thing is, it's also up to the UPS driver's discretion whether he will leave it or not. If he sees it's an iPhone he may think twice about leaving it even for me. I am going to leave instructions to put the box in an even safer place this time. I will still fill out the special apple form for the driver too.
I'm also debating about picking it up myself just because it's so valuable (more value than its list price at this time because it can be sold on eBay for much more if someone stole it).

My 32 GB still hasn't shipped
Same here with my 16. Mine didn't move to preparing for shipment until between 830a and 9a this morning. (Eastern time).

Placed my order when it went live for a silver 32gb.
Delivery for Oct 11th.
Went to a TMO store and bought a black 32gb that they had in stock.
Haven't opened the TMO phone yet as I'm holding out hope I'll get my shipment email by today.
For me it's not that I can't wait, buy 4s on a TMO network is just brutal.

2:02 Central time. Shipped this morning via standard shipping with delivery of 9/24. Not sure I believe the 9/24 or not. Shipped from China.
Ah looks like you ordered exactly 1 minute before me haha. Guess it makes a difference with when they update your info and stuff.
