I think the reason for getting rid of MagSafe is that the laptops are getting lighter. The sharp tug of a tripped-over cable used to be enough to snap the MagSafe out of its socket. With an ultralight laptop, that same sharp tug would likely send the laptop flying anyway.I absolutely hate the idea that they are killing MagSafe! It was one of the few "real" innovations that Apple have had.
In the 5 years of using Apple laptops, i've probably stacked it over the power cable about 5 times. Thats just once a year, but if i didn't have a MagSafe it would have caused the laptop to go flying. Why remove it? F-A-R-K.
those are pre-apple.Instead of buying a pair of $300 Beats headphones, you're better off buying a pair of Sennheisers at that price. Beats are pure garbage.. they do fit well with Apple's history of making garbage sounding speakers and headphones, perhaps that's what they're going for?
And if the headphone jack was still there on the iPhone 7, it wouldnt make one damn bit of difference, you'd STILL buy it regardless. What do you care about it being there? A ton of people use it for a reason; because it's perfectly fine and NOT broken. So why are you being an apologist for Apple's stupid decision on trying to fix something that was never broken?
lol. ok.I have a pair that I got with my 2015 MacBook this summer, and they're some of the worse headphones I've ever used, I can't believe they cost $300. I have some no name Bluetooth headphones from Amazon they sound better, and they were only $50. Hell wired Skullcandy Ink'd ($15-20) sound better than Beats. They have a horrible frequency response
That's the fallacy of your argument. You can still use one if you are so ingrained with it. You can use the new lightning headphones or use a dongle. Why all the bitching about a "problem" that doesn't exist?
Move on.
Or buy a Dell or Lavano or Surface and fade away with the PC in peace. But if you are stuck in the past, that's no reason not to allow Apple to move on.
It begins......
eh for my computer I liked to have a wired headphone jack only because i do video editing and it can get annoying with the slight delay...
for the SD card, i would like to have it not necessity as those are cheap and i keep a few in the different bags i use...
You know what the problem is? You're arrogant and smug (and some others like you have the same toxic apologist attitude). You don't give a damn if so many other people want to still use the headphone jack, EVEN IF it has no affect on you at all.
Do you have ANY idea of how insulting you are to basically everyone?
Oh because I don't agree with your fallacy and explained how you are wrong. Oh yes that's toxic.
We must all agree with you or be toxic.
LOL, so true considering they still charge $4,000 for a 3 year old Mac Pro that even then had 2 year GPU tech inside it. That's what Apple needs to fix... NOT the headphone jack that virtually everyone uses. WTF is wrong with Apple?
How does apple not understand the music industry is run on Macs? There's no respectable sound engineer or mixer that would honestly mix anything on wireless headphones. Most won't even touch headphones when mastering
You STILL don't get it. You can still use your precious 3.5 jack. On the iPhone 7 or on your Victotolla. No, because you're wrong. Just accept it that you're an apologist and move on with your life. What, you think because you dont need the headphone jack, nobody else does?
Get outta here.
Good thing we don't get sex from Apple. I kind need the port there. If there isn't somewhere to stick the device in, it isn't quite as much fun.
