Get rid of the notch completely and I will upgrade instantly. I’m never going to upgrade my iPhone unless the notch is gone.
Honestly, I really think that Apple is the only one that can achieve the refinement and excellence that flip/foldable smartphones need to give the market a game changer once again.Foldable display phones are big fail. At least in this stage of available technology.
or a foldable Macbook 11 or 12".I have no interest in a foldable phone. My iPhone is portable enough. But I'd check out a foldable iPad. To me, that would make a lot more sense.
May be, but i think not in upcoming 5 - 7 years. I think they have this in their bench, but technology not allowing to implement such thing as they wanted to.Honestly, I really think that Apple is the only one that can achieve the refinement and excellence that flip/foldable smartphones need to give the market a game changer once again.
I would be happy if it had neither.Yes to TouchID. No to wireless only.
Awesome. Get rid of FaceID and the notch already, Apple!Fingerprint sensor isn't even about the pandemic. Kuo got wind this plan as early as August 2019.
We've had 4 years of Face ID and we've seen marginal improvements.
Ultrasonic fingerprint sensors read the geography under the skin, bypassing dirt and liquid. Contrary to popular belief, with higher DPI sensors, it can be more secure than Face ID.
So basically what every Xiaomi had for three years. Yay! Go Apple!I’d like an in-display fingerprint sensor and no notch.
With all respect, I think 5-7 years is too long far away, so I guess that for 2023 Apple will introduce their flip/foldable iPhones, and that way obviously all other brands will follow that trend. That’s my humble guess, so we’ll see.May be, but i think not in upcoming 5 - 7 years. Why are you all like a flip phone would be so cool? Like that was so 15 something years ago.

Too much? ☺️
Seriously though, the PEBL and RAZR were neat back then.
Yes, so simple to make FaceID smaller...they should just hire you to show them.In-display fingerprint would be cool. Folding? not so much.
What makes way more sense to me is improving FaceID tech (I am fine with the notch, but it'd be gravy to make it smaller) and then putting TouchID into the power button like they did with the iPad Air.
I also plug in my iPhone occasionally for syncing higher-fidelity music as well as for carplay in my older car. While they probably are on track to remove cables altogether, I hope they don't.
I really do think that Apple will eventually merge iPad Mini and it’s future foldable iPhone into a one single product, and that clearly will be the competitive advantage of that new foldable iPhone, definitely becoming the iPhone that everybody will want to have.I wonder how Apple would cripple their foldable iPhone so as not to compete with iPad (Mini). Similar to how Apple will never put a touchscreen in a Mac because iPad sales...
Yes a few. Usually stores that cannot afford strict surface cleaning compliance.I don't know of any store that REQUIRES you to wear gloves. Do you?![]()
I am enjoying seeing people eat crow as well.“Touch ID isn’t coming back. Face ID is the future” - forum members
