I would like a Airport Express with AC wifi. Been waiting to see if they'll release one with this event. I'll be getting one anyways, but it would be nice if they added the AC standard.

Don't think so - I just picked up an Extreme yesterday for $199. I think the multiple beam forming antennas may prevent them from putting it in the Express packaging. I'm getting 55+Mbps on my 6+ btw. :D

You know what's coming the, 'I'm not impressed with the new iPad's and I'm holding out for the iPad Pro' thread.

good timing, i was about to sell my ipad mini and get the retina model. I'll just wait another week and jump ahead to the latest one

Airport express is too small for certified AC wireless. The antennas have to have a certain XYZ 3D spacing for the mimo functions to work. The current AirPort Extreme barely passes compared to commercial wifi units... And Apple don't do EXTERNAL antennae.

Apple TV love?

I would give my left leg if they would revise the Apple TV and release it this holiday season. I don't need new features, I'm just not a fan of paying $100 for 3 year old parts. We know they've been working on a revision, but don't want to launch it without certain partnerships. Well I say release the hardware and add the features later!!! My poor first version of the Apple TV 2g, is just sad as heck these days. Airplay only works about 60% of the time.

#firstworldproblems (sigh, if only hashtags worked here)

I've said multiple times here that there's no way Apple will release a Retina or even a 4K iMac this year because I don't think they can put the quality of panel they'd prefer into the machine and still be able to sell it at a price point that anyone would actually purchase.

Looking like I may have been wrong, but after previously being burned by the 13" rMBP $400 price drop 6 months into it's existence, I will certainly be holding out until the Rev B version of a Retina iMac when the hardware catches up to the display and when pricing settles down to what they will ultimately plan to sell it for long term. Buyer beware on this initial model. Graphics card will struggle to keep up with the shear number of pixels and a price drop is a huge hit to resale value.

I was really hoping to hear the iPad announcements at the last show. Even if the "Pro" does not get announce, I would love to hear the following --

iPad
Touch ID
A8
Retina HD
Lighter
Thinner
18-hour battery (yeah right)

My iPad 4's battery lasts more than the 10 hours Apple advertises (generally around 12-13), so I don't see how they wouldn't be able to put a 14-15 hour battery in the new models, considering they will be two generations apart.

It would be awesome to see a retina iMac in two size options (small and large), with next gen GPUs and available in Space Gray or Silver

I would flip my 2013 27" for a retina model if the specs, options, and price, all strike the perfect balance. More screen real estate is totally welcomed in my book!

It's so interesting that we knew pretty well *everything* about the iPhone before its release, but there's still a lot of uncertainly about the iMac and Mac Mini. I'm extremely interested to see what they'll release. Any Retina desktop device will tempt the hell out of me. I'm more stoked for this than the iPhone event--partially because I don't know, and there's a definite air of potential to this one.

...I just hope they've fixed the live stream.

I too will wait for the next rev. This has all the makings of iPad 3 and 4 on it. They rushed out a compromised iPad 3 and then a fixed 4 six months later. Guess which one I bought?

Every time an Apple Event is planned....
(See above picture)

LOL !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This says it all. WE are those pigeons on this thread.....

Have you checked the prices for Apple TV2 on eBay recently? No need to give that arm or leg...:)
