Don't order the remote strap with the Apple TV, if they are delayed, they may wait until the strap is ready before shipping the TV, I'd place two separate orders.

I remember issues before with iPad cases.

Ya I would think Apple should be able to update their web site without taking it down in this day & age especially since the "store" is no longer a separate area. Refresh, refresh, refresh.... ... .. .
 
I am currently living in Tokyo and I want to get the 32GB version. I just moved here a month ago so I am still figuring out stuff. Does anyone know if it is possible to somehow reserve for in-store pickup here in Japan? I have tried to see if I could find something on Apples website here in Japan, but with no luck.

I think it was just pre-orders online for deliveries that I'm aware of. I'm guessing in-store purchases will follow close to delivery dates.
 
Is anybody also waiting for the Steelseries Nimbus iOS/OSX gaming controller, i.e the official controller for the Apple TV 4? No sign of that online either.
 
Available in the Apple Store app now.
Pre-ordered and got my delivery date to be 30 October.
 
Has anyone noticed in the Apple Store app, that the "Accessories" icon for the ATV is a game pad

[Edit: ATV is available to order in the app!!!!!! £129 & £169]

just ordered through the app. ended up getting the 64gb just to be "safe" i guess. But I have no idea why :) I think the 32gb would have been plenty.

anyone get the apple care? I have never had a problem with my apple tv's so I passed. curious if anyone has had any issues with past ATV's

I plan to stream or only temporarily store videos on the Apple TV, so I don't need a lot of storage. (For iPhone I always get the biggest storage)
 
Preorders are up here (Nebraska). Just ordered mine on the mobile app. Strange it doesn't seem to be open for preorders on the website yet.

Waiting for the blasted website to go live so I can get a boosted Avios credit. If it takes much longer I might just ditch that and do it on the app. Never understood why the app goes live far before the website does
 
Just ordered one of each model for my living rooms. I figure if I play games, it would only be in one of the rooms, so I'm playing it safe and getting one 64g.
 
Ordered the 32GB model given it will largely be used for streaming. Can't see much point in the 64GB model unless you are planning on loading up with tons of apps.
Delivers 30th at the moment.
