That's exactly what it seems like, the clips prevent it to stay in. Tried on a 6s.
Nope. 'Shipped' last night and UPS has yet to pick it up..... Yet all the Apple Stores around have them in stock.
My UPS status is also Order Processed: Ready for UPS
A UPS shipping label has been created. Once the shipment arrives at our facility, the tracking status will be updated.
Just got back from the local Apple Store, now watching Terminator Genisys on my (other) new Apple TV 4.
Out for delivery. F*cking finally. Just gotta slave through work for another 10 hours...
Been following the thread and just as another data point I ordered Monday morning free shipping and it's getting delivered today via UPS, I'm in the Atlanta area.
It says originally scheduled for Monday delivery but I'm getting early delivery today. I still would have just picked one up at the store today had i known that would be an option...

Same deal in Regina, SK. Got an email yesterday around noon saying it had shipped, tracking number didn't start working until the evening and it hasn't changed from:

Mine is at my local sorting facility and will be delivered in a few hours. I paid for next day before noon and that seems exactly what I'm getting. 
I think It's great that some of those that opted for free delivery

Just got an email from Apple saying it shipped! I pre-ordered on Monday and it will arrive Saturday! I was expecting the worse that it would arrive Nov 2 - 4, but it will be here Oct 31! I'm extremely excited!
Not me - preordered Monday at 8:40 AM ET for Boston, standard shipping, 64 GB.
Still PFS, so I'm going to try to stop by the Apple Store after work.
It will soon! Ours probably got separated after Rialto, so just a few more minutes and it should be out for delivery! Mine was checked at 8:10AM for Out for Delivery, so it takes a bit of time.
Just one thing though...I never got an email from Apple about my Apple TV shipping....
So mine has finally shipped, via OnTrac....serious Apple? I paid for the expedited shipping, there is no ETA provided by OnTrac as it says the package has yet to be tendered to them. I'm guessing tomorrow best case as the data entry location was Ontario which is a ways away from Los Angeles.

I placed my order at 7:09am MDT on Monday for a 64Gb with free shipping - still sitting on PFS. I placed another order this morning for store pick-up and received my notification that it is ready for me to pick it up. I'll either return the other one when I get it next week, or keep it and use it in the den to replace the ATV3 that I have in there. I told myself to just wait as my current ATV will get me through the weekend - but I am an impatient b*stard.

Since probably late Tuesday, I've been stuck at Preparing for Shipment.
I'm also near Harrisburg, so I'm guessing there's some sort of issue with their shipments that they're taking forever to send them out.

I'm surprised you didn't receive an e-mail I actually did. my FedEx status was last updated at 7:51. Still scheduled for delivery by 10:30 so It's fine.
I'm just getting impatient! LOL! 
I picked expedited shipping on Monday at 6:00 am PDT and JUST got a text from Apple saying my order has been changed to Shipped but with an arrival date of 10/31.
The tracking number says by end of day today though, but that was with an anticipated ship date of 10/29.

I just got my shipment notification. Ordered the second they were available on Monday, did free shipping option. Apple's email says Nov. 3 delivery, but FedEx says it will come tomorrow.
