LOL no kidding. Hopefully UPS don't need to substitute the horses w/ donkeys. May have to change UPS standard to UPS ass service if that happens.
LOL. It is close to that now...but I really don't want to make an asinine comment on that.

Here is hoping we all get our deliveries early in the week. It has been hard to watch fellow Apple enthusiasts go through all this.

100% in agreement with you. But its my own fault that I pre-ordered. After the UPS status headache and waiting with my keyboard & trackpad, I promised myself I won't do the Apple online order again. But, I couldn't resist and did the exact same mistake with the Apple TV. With that said, I deserve my punishment of waiting until Wednesday for it.

I think we were all caught a little off guard when it was announced the units would be available in stores about 3 milliseconds after everyone's order went from processing to PFS. Now the next "treat" or probably trick as it is/was close to Halloween, will be dealing with UPS. Seeing some of the horror stories from those of us in the Great White North, it kinda makes me wonder how or why they are still the preferred carrier. Granted our friends south of the 49th have expressed issues with their carriers, it would be nice to have a choice (i.e. Fedex etc.).

Sorry not trying to rant or whine, just a little frustrated with the whole issue.

No problem, I think we are all frustrated at this point. But in my case, I'm used to waiting for stuff via mail. I think they are the preferred carrier is because UPS gave Apple the cheapest rates compared to Fed Ex or even Purolator.

I looks like this afternoon for me....maybe next time I will think long and hard about preordering....I could have already been playing with my atv4 if I hadn't already ordered one, seeing how they are available at the stores!!!

My label has been created. Shipping Fedex from Harrisburg, PA. We'll see if it escapes the great shipping black hole. I ordered with free shipping early Monday Oct 26 and it is supposed to arrive Wed Nov 4.

Hm. If they know it's a business address, it may be coming 'real FedEx' and you might get it tomorrow. Check the tracking when it's created. I don't even have a label yet (it just spins at FedEx.com).

But from what we hear, FedEx Home does not deliver Sun and Mon. Each of the services is different and has different pricing of course!

Only at label created and still in Harrisburg. I won't be getting a delivery today. Apple offered to refund my money, but said it would change my delivery date to next week. Funny how they can make those quick changes and completely change my delivery date, but can't cancel my order that's in PFS for 5 days. I really am surprised by how bad of service this has been.

I still don't have any progress besides info sent to FedEx, but it only takes one day for the whole transaction. I'd leave yours as is, it should come tomorrow, then you can call back and get the refund (a manager will do that). This is nuts. :)

It was painful to read all the positive reviews and see all the hands-on videos over the weekend. I thought I'd have mine by Saturday afternoon, but as my wife and I were sitting down on Friday night to watch a movie on HBO Go, and literally FIVE MINUTES after I said "Hey honey, this is the last time we have to deal with the Samsung Smart Hub!", I got a notification from FedEx that my delivery day had changed to Tuesday. About 5 minutes after that, the Smart Hub completely crashed (as always).

We have a gen 3 on our small TV upstairs, so I went up and got it and connected it to the big TV so we could watch our movie. The fourth gen Apple TV is going to finally make our Samsung TV usable and I can't wait.

My 64GB model should be arriving tomorrow via UPS, which is well within the original range of November 2–4. I feel bad for all the people who paid for expedited delivery and experienced delays. Somebody screwed up there.

Apple sent me a text at 6 AM to let me know my Apple TV would be delivered today. It is a good thing I have DND set up or is be really pissed! Happy to try it out, though!

More delivery "drama" from Toronto: on Friday at ~8pm UPS said my aTV was in town, and scheduled for delivery 10/30, but of course that was BS. Over the weekend, status was updated to delivery 11/2. This morning when I checked, delivery has been rescheduled to tomorrow.

Can't you call UPS and see if you can pick it up today?

Same thing just happened to me! First it was scheduled delivery for Friday, then all morning today it was out on a truck for delivery, and now i've had a second destination scan in Concord and it's coming tomorrow. Great work UPS.

Same thing for me. It is scheduled to be delivered on Tuesday now (which was initial estimated date from Apple anyways)

Apple is slowly falling apart... Ordered mine the second you could... Won't be here until the 3rd... Everyone has been enjoying since this past Friday. I don't get it Apple. According to Apple I was supposed to have it Saturday, FedEx says, not too fast... It'll be there Tuesday silly. Makes you wonder if you should ever order online or order to be picked up at the store?

Brutal. Nothing like UPS dropping the ball; either that or they shouldn't be optimistic with their delivery targets. I got Nov.2-4th from Apple, UPS first told me it would delivery Friday the 30th; now I have to wait until Tuesday - meanwhile I should have just bought one in store.

I just got another one from Apple store on Saturday. Will return the one I receive tomorrow.

Called UPS. They have no idea what’s going on - I was just read to off a script. I told them it was on a truck for delivery this morning, but now tracking says it'll arrive Tuesday. ‘Oh, that’s a pre-delivery notification. That means if it’s not delivered today, it’ll be delivered tomorrow.’ Remind me to never use UPS when I have the choice.
