I'd like to know if student pricing is changing (currently Music and TV for $6.99/m).

Apple Arcade was, or at least used to be a bargain at $4.99 but isn't worth more than that at all to anyone.

As I calculate with another 600+ month on this earth, having to spend $3 more per month for anything means $1,800 additionally over 600 months. So in my calculation this price increase alone (which will not be the last) has a cost of $1,800 over 600 months.

Only Apple service I subscribe to is Fitness and it looks like it's staying the same price for now. Little to nothing else is worth it, especially News.

Writers demanded more money and got it. Actors are demanding more money and will get it

You get to pay for it.

C-Suite could take less for themselves to balance it out, or there could be slightly less profit, but still a profit. Funny how those are never mentioned as options.

The family plan on Apple One a good deal. The family does not need to reside in the same house. Lots of folks not impressed with the News. I actually enjoy it. I call what I do with the Apple News, Drive by News. I see good articles about science, space, everyday life etc. I really get excited by what this person is wearing, eating at, going out with etc /s 🤣. Not just political everyday depressing news. To each his own. Arcade getting much better. As noted Apple TV+ on its own, better not a good value at the new price. Will stick with Apple One for now.

That's only if they don't increase it again in a year or two as well!

I think that was just a 12 month deal....(I have it too) which I think said it would just bill monthly to your T-mobile bill after the year. I will cancel that too as soon as my year is up.

EDIT: Just checked and I have a reminder on my calendar that my year is up on 12/12.
I'm on their go5gplus and have had it since I signed up. I don't see anythign about it being 12 months but definitely will have to check. I really like Severance, Silo, Shrinking (lots of s's lol) and a few others but not enough to keep it when those shows are between seasons.

TV+ at $5/mo was an easy, why not...at $7 it was, well, they have good shows, not many but good... now at $10/mo...may not be worth it to keep anymore.

I know Netflix raised their prices and I'll cancel at the end of my year buy-in.

***I wish my Pay increased as often as everything else has

I calculate everything in head by the yearly price regardless of what it is, but I like your idea as well!

I have a little less than 500 months, if I live to 90.

I mean sure that could happen. But that never gets negotiated when the contracts are being worked out. That is the only place that something like that could happen. Instead we hear how the union is making things better for everyone, but the consumer that will pay for the crazy raises.
I could understand that the use of AI needed to have some rules around it. I could even semi understand the writers, I do not however understand the actors strike. It is just millionaires fighting with millionaires and we the consumer are going to pay the price, as always.

like a drug, get you hooked and then jack prices up because they know you'll complain but still pay.
Except drugs are addictive or provide much pleasure to keep one coming back for more. Apple One does not do that for anyone. Custom bundles are way more expensive which is why everyone has been paying for stuff they don't use. Even the stuff they do use and love ... it is not drug-level love and no one is hooked except maybe on storage and tunes.
