Scarily Fast!

This ofcourse refers to the speed at which they will deplete you bank account from 2024 onwards

Im surprised they haven't increased the price of adapters and cables already. I bet Tims got that on his desk already...

Didn’t apple just increase the cost for Apple TV. I will be canceling The service when the hike takes effect.

Apple Music has everything. Example the recent five CD box set of the Beatles Revolver is currently available on Amazon for $100, included on Apple Music. Granted you don't get the box...
I dunno

How many times can you repackage the stuff you already have?

I like Apple Arcade. There were a couple of games on there that I thoroughly enjoyed but at this price point, I feel like I'd rather outright buy the few games I want to play on my iPad/Mac :/

Just cancelled my Apple One Premier Family. We're moving just to Apple Music and iCloud+ Storage now. Yeah it's $11 per month less than the new premier prices, but the other services were "nice to have" at the $5 extra. Now, nope.
How did you do this? I can see that Music has two separate entries, one for family and one for individuals. iCloud only has one entry. I want to make sure that my family still has access to the storage before I switch.

So who's more evil, Apple increasing prices 43 percent or Netflix increasing prices between 0 percent (Standard with ads and Standard plans) and 20 percent (Basic plan)? The Premium plan went up 15 percent.

Have people cancelled their Apple TV+ sub for this like they did when Netflix raised their prices a week ago? Asking for a friend.

The difference is that most of us assumed that these Apple services were loss leaders for hardware purchases. Apple could afford to lose money, or make not as much money on them. Whereas Netflix’s entire business depends on a single product.

Raising Apple TV+ sub price to $9.99 leaves room for Apple to introduce a $6.99/mo TV+ with Ads plan that was rumored last year. Price it right where Netflix Standard with Ads is ($6.99/mo) and $1 less than the ad supported Disney+ Basic at $7.99/mo.

EDIT: After thinking about it some more, Apple could under cut everyone and offer an ad-supported plan for $4.99, the original TV+ price.

The algorith is very easy to understand:

x = get_subscribers_numbers
subscription_price = get_subscription_price
y = x
while y >= x:
--------- subscription_price += 3$
--------- wait_some_time_to_see_mass_of_idiots_we_dont_give_a_sxxx_reaction
--------- y = get_subscribers_numbers
