What the service would entail has been talked about for months.

And comparatively Apple News+ has more than just Apples own original couple of articles a day. Imagine Apple Music having only Beats Radio in it’s catalogue for $5 while every other service has millions of songs for $10.

So who is gonna switch from Netflix or Amazon Prime just for this?

It’s been well known since the beginning that Apple TV+ would only be Apple funded original content. No one at Apple ever said it would include iTunes movies and TV shows. If it did it would be crazy expensive. I don’t think anyone at Apple is expecting people to ditch Netflix for this. For those who can only afford one subscription service my guess is Disney+ will be the winner there.

So far so good with my "free" subscription - all shows look great 4K/Atmos/Dolby Vision
Currently watching See - definitely not boring like some reviewers were saying

It sounds like it might be your internet connection.

If you are able to, try setting your QoS (quality of service) in your router.

It can make a big difference.

Lmao no YOU don’t get it. The television shows themselves don’t have ads. Who cares if you see HBO shows when you open up the Apple TV app? They’ll probably change it eventually to where ATV+ has its own specific tab or app.

That’s not possible. The most you can get is additional 3 months free because you have 3 months to sign up for ATV+ upon your new product being turned on / activated.

If you both activate your free trials right now it wouldn’t make any sense. Better off waiting until right before the 3 month mark of your new device being set up.

EDIT: I guess if your new product is left in the box for a while then that gives you more time to activate the free year.

Do you see a navigation bar in the bottom, try switching to another tab.
 
I can only watch the first 3 episodes of The Morning Show, See and For All Mankind here in Germany. Is this normal?
 
Bought an iPad Air 3 in September for my Dad and I did get the "Enable" for the 1 year free. I did originally set it up with my iCloud account before wiping it again and setting it up with his. I wonder though if I hadn't had done that if it would have given me the offer. My Dad is part of my Family Sharing.

Actually AppleTV+ appears as a channel. I had to restart the TV app to properly set it up, but not it works. I have to say though that the content is really small. It would be nice to know when we should expect new episodes of the TV shows. Apple has still a lot to learn. The picture quality though is amazing..

Imo Khal Drogo's voice actor would have been a better pick than Jason Momoa. And
Bronn's voice actor, Jerome Flynn would have suited the guy
who was leading the raid.

Liking the show, looking forward to the rest!
