Apple TV+ Streaming Service Launches With 'Dickinson,' 'For All Mankind,' 'See' and More

Most of the shows look great in my opinion. I really liked the first episode of The Morning Show.
But why is AT+ just thrown in the middle like that?! It should have its own tab.

Just scheduled my Netflix subscription via iTunes to 'cancel' on December 1st.

After I finish 'Crown' Season 3 I'll only sub to Netflix on a month-by-month basis. Looking forward to trying both Apple+ & Disney+ in December!

No, they will email you 3 days before the expiration date so that you can renew/cancel - also you can cancel right away after you subscribe and keep the service for 1 year.
 
Signed up for my free first year. I obviously have time to check out the shows and they will be releasing new content, but honestly the lineup seems really weak to me and I really don't see actually paying for when my year is up. Maybe things change (or more likely I get a new device that extends it). The new Disney service looks much more enticing to me (and I get a free year of that with my Verizon account).

Did anyone else get charged $19.99 after signing up for the FREE (HA!) trial???
I am on hold with Sachs right now.

Okay I may have been mistaken but I thought both Disney and Apple said they won't be releasing them all at once to prevent binge watching.

The current AppleTV 4K is already performant enough to handle everything you need to do with it. A new one would be no different, other than "being new".

That's true. It wasn't a complaint, I had a friend tell me it was looking to be like Netflix with other titles, I already use a mountain of streaming Apps.

So is your Apple watch not going to get mad when you don't close your circles when your iOS device tells it that you were watching ATV+?

Do we know what days they are going to be adding new episodes?

They should make it clear really from a marketing perspective- there’s no indication that there will be more than the current 3 episodes coming for instance.
 
Well I don't like the interface much!

I was looking for 'For All Mankind' and it took me a good while to notice it was the episode titles which are displayed big and bold in black. The series names are in light grey text on a white background (on a Mac.)

Also, I'm a bit of a binge watcher. I'd rather that all episodes were available when I start watching. If it's going to be one new episode per week, I'm much less likely to start watching a show. I don't know if I'm in the minority or not.
 
How long is the free year with purchase of an Apple product going on for? I might be buying a new phone within the next month but i might want to wait. Also, could I get a year for a phone and then (depending on the answer to the first question) get another year if I bought an iPad in March/April which I'm thinking about doing if I have the money. I doubt it, but worth the ask, IMO. LOL
