$1399 for Max 512gb??

Apple Watch will at least warn you when you fall down from the sticker shock or heart problems. So get the Series 4 first. :)

So let me see if I have this right. Prices start at $399 for GPS and $499 for GPS/LTE. That will be 40mm aluminum.

If you want a SS GPS/LTE 44mm, that might be $699 or $599?
Yeah that’s what kinda worries me is the 699 tag.

What was last years 42 sbss? I forgot what I paid

Edit; 649 was for 42mm sbss. So we are thinking an extra $50?

Great info regarding iPhone and Apple Watch. Certainly looks like I'll be upgrading both devices. Disappointed though that no iPad or Mac info was released today.

Taking it off for 90 minutes every day is a bit much for me, I am rarely in one place for more than 30 minutes so I guess I will just have to go without the sleep monitoring etc and take it off and charge it at night
I’ve never understood the battery life concerns. I charge mine at night from 9pm-9:30/10:00pm. I wake up to 94% and do an hour plus workout-other and the battery is at 86-88%. I charge while I shower and get ready and it is at 96-98% when I put it back on. At 9pm it is usually at 60-70% and can easily go another day/night.

I have a nice play money account, but my word I cannot see putting nearly $1700 out there for a phone after taxes and AC.

I'm not sure if I'm a fan of the fall detection feature. If I'm doing an active sport like snowboarding and I happen to fall, will I have to tap my watch every time? I don't want my watch calling my emergency contact for every fall if I happen to not get back up within the allotted minute.

Was happy with my Series 2 but the ECG alone has me interested in an upgrade.
Same here. My daughter, a Physical Therapist gets me Series 2 and my cardiologist and I get a series 4. Just have to decide whether the cell version is worth the added purchase and use costs.

Extra $150 I think because the SBSS was $100 more than SS - I think. My memory isn’t great. :)

I am buying one for myself, one for my wife, and am considering buying a couple for my grandparents who are prone to falls and heart attacks. Problem is my grandparents only have one iPhone 7. Can you pair two different Watches to one iPhone 7, or do they need to have the same content on either?

Yeah, you are definitely the first person to think about that. The trillion dollar company never considered these concerns.

I was wondering about the same thing. EMS/Fire will be getting upset getting false alarm calls from people who do not realize the detector went off. I am sure there has got to be away to turn off.

So, I note that the ecg is both us-only and “available later”. Wonder when we’ll get actual details on when this will start working and what the timeframe for other countries might be...

I'm thinking I'm going to get mine with cellular because I'd love to be able to go out without my phone but remain connected to my family.

What in the hell is going on withMac Pro development? At 5 years old and counting, it's well beyond end of life. I'd gladly give up iPhone color selection and Apple Watch band selection for more frequent refreshes of real computers.

Really wish the Series 4 has an always on display like the TicWatch Pro does. Would be extremely useful in meetings when I want to discreetly look at the time. Having the watch turn on is too much of a distraction.

What do you feel like is missing? AutoSleep and the Watch Series 2 seem to work pretty well for me and I have Sleep Apnea..
I AutoSleep too. I find the app to be a bit busy and confusing. Would be nice to have native solution or a hardware design for better sleep tracking.

Wow FDA approval is huge! I look forward to replace my first generation Apple Watch with this one.
