I'm torn...I really don't want the added weight and bulk of the pro over the regular 14 but I really want the telephoto camera and other improved camera features, plus the improved GPS. Not that I take a ton of pics, but when I do I want to capture the scene as faithfully as possible. And I love taking close ups of flowers and creating printed photo albums from them as a present to my mom. I'll probably have to just play with them in the store to see if the weight is a dealbreaker.

I'm still laughing how all those experts and analysts fell for that fake separated cutout! When they revealed the insights with one solid pill-shaped cutout, I chuckled
Honestly, it's still the same notch minus some tiny space on top of it, meaning this Dynamic Island (are we in the kitchen? LOL) could've been implemented on the Series 13 models as well, but we all know it's Apple, so....

The pill cutout goes significantly lower than the notch, so it’s really quite different.
In Dec 2020, the Euro was worth $1.20 USD.
In Sept 2021 the Euro was worth $1.17 USD.
Now it is only worth $1.00 USD.
I think a lot of what you are seeing is the effect of exchange rates.

Why is everyone celebrating the creative way to half hide the notch? Even mid-range android phones just have a punch hole(s) now. It is a solution to a problem they should have easily engineered out of by now.
But from what I've seen on the notch the videos don't extend into the notch space unless you choose to zoom in on the video which crops part of the video. I would assume a similar behavior for the dynamic island. The default is no interference.
I am going to be lazy instead of searching did we sync-up on the Pros this year? Are the cameras and features identical?
Edit: Ok I looked on the Apple Store Tech specs looks like they are identical other than screen and battery life. Bravo.

That lower floating notch is way more intrusive than I thought it would be. It’s just the same but lower and more visible in the screen than the notch it’s supposed to have replaced. The power of marketing I suppose.
It’s funny you say that because several people at work still have the iPhones with touch ID—an actual iconic design. Nothing special about the pill—especially since they dropped the Beats Pill design years ago.
While I wouldn’t go that far, the coolness factor can’t be denied and will make 13 Pro owners who were steadfast about waiting until the 15 or 16 Pro think twice about that decision. It gives the iPhone a change that will make others know you have something new similar to the way people knew when they saw my X years ago.

Nope 256GB Pro Max is £1309 compared to £1149 last year.
Stainless Steel Apple Watch with sport band is £779 this year compared to £649 last year.
Wait until the MacBook Pro M2 Max comes out they will use that as an excuse to increase MacBook prices in the UK too.
Thing is they are very quick to increase prices but when inflation drops they won't drop the price. £160 increase this year blamed on inflation but when it goes down they will only take off £50 for example.
Around here, anybody with a Touch ID iPhone are either elementary school kids or grandparents.
Any word if they improved the charge speed? What about the wireless charging? And what about the rumored stronger magnets out back? Did that not happen?
Hi there. On the 12PM. I’m either holding out until they get better zoom and it be on the regular sized “Pro”, or going to the 13 mini. Nothing I see makes me even contemplate switching to the new phone. AOD has been on Android for an eternity and didn’t do anything for me then either. Notifications on iPhone are still years behind as well.
Yea Verizon gave me $800 instant plus some installment credits to trade 12PM for 13PM
It’s probably a safe bet that the regular 15 will get the Dynamic Island feature and maybe the next SE will be a reborn mini that retains the old notch.
