Why are so many people charging their phones and listening to music?? Do you all really do this so much? If so, why? If I can charge my phone then it's likely i'm somewhere I can use another device - eg my home cinema, my home hi-fi or my home recording studio setup...why would I be using headphones in my iPhone if I have access to these?

My kids, when trying to watch some video. Frankly, a second speaker is a big deal when it comes to overall volume.

Too expensive. For me, its a want, don't really need it, but I have to say that Jet Black is stunning. Too bad its only available in 128 and 256. Really can't justify after last years purchase. Sigh, will hold out with my now old 6s for another year.

The 4 core A10 is what interests me most. I think this is the year to get a 7 and then with the next generation get a Plus model. The secondary camera still feels gimmicky to me and I've always been happiest with iPhones because they weren't huge.

Other companies have made great strides but no one else does things at the level Apple does. It amazes me that they continue to amaze me.

I kind of feel the same way but I am happy with my 128 GB 6, I might skip it this time which would be the first time. I just spend less and less time on devices, pretty liberating really.

Just this morning, I used it in my bathroom while taking a shower. I have to direct the speakers into an echo chamber in order to hear the music while I shower. So, there you have it.

If the vast majority of TVs still used SCART connections, as the vast majority of audio devices use 3.5mm, you might have a valid point. Until then, not so much.

I love the new iPhone but they mentioned nothing on how to charge the iPhone when you have the lightning EarPods plugged in. I guess unless you have a battery case you are out of luck. That sucks :(

On the other hand, battery life has improved, so that compensates somewhat.
 
can't decide between the Jet Black and the Black. I'll need to see some hands on videos to be sure. I barely use 16GB so the 32GB model would be plenty. That being said, I don't think I can justify going for 128GB for Jet Black. It may be a fingerprint magnet too. Im leaning toward the Black 7 Plus 32GB or the Jet Black 7 Plus 128GB
 
Well after all the rumours and conjecture I have to say I was as disappointed as I thought I would be. Lost the jack , get an ugly adapter harking back to the early days of phones and get a new colour to sway the true unbelievers. Water proof yes but then so are many other phones these days. No wireless charging and ear pods that would make Lt Uhura be ashamed! Plus nearly a thousand pound for the 25GB model!!!! Are they taking the piss???

I have a feeling both black models are going to be the best selling because they make that ugly antenna band nearly invisible. Looking forward to getting my Jet Black model. But which size? Obviously I would go with the smaller size, but damn that presentation on dSLR-like image quality on the Plus model is really pushing me the other way. Freaking A!

I doubt apple will back track but I really do hope the feedback they get on the headphone jack really is a forceful as it appears to be.

All i envisage is every iPhone owner walking round with the adapter dangling from their phone all the time.
 
Is the wireless audio for AirPods and other similar headphones over Bluetooth? Was hoping for lossless wireless audio.
