Maybe placebo, but even on Music app, the sound quality seems improved, could hear individual instruments in music better. Transparency seems more natural, where as before it felt like a hearing aid. Noise cancellation seems good too. I like this update.

Think it needs to support Dolby Vision.

Looks like everything on Apple TV just got updated to support it. Checked Ted Lasso just a few minutes ago and it didn’t support until like a minute ago.

My mind is still being blown...I'm sorry to keep repeating myself...to try it out - watch the trailers on Apple TV+ or even view the free episodes of various Apple TV+ shows, they don't require a trial or anything.

It is should work with any content with 5.1 / 7.1 / dolby atmos audio. On YouTube only 2.0.

From what I'm reading this just makes the audio sound like its coming from your device? Genuine question, how is that better than just having normal stereo/virtual surround? I'm clearly missing something...

Every time i wake my phone screen I get the drop down notification telling me my airpods are connected. was totally fine before this update.

I’m excited to test the Spatial Audio with my Pros tonight, assuming they’ll update at some point this afternoon, in between work calls. Sounds like this could help drive more use of Apple TV+, if it is as good as people say.

Updated. Subtle feature but extremely cool. It legitimately makes the Pros feel more open, less constrained (especially with the ANC on).

Yeah not sure either but sounds a lil more detailed, crisper. May be placebo though.

Yeah. You don't even notice that you are wearing earbuds, it really is a new magical experience.
