Afaik AirPods won't update on a beta version of iOS. My girlfriend got her AirPods Pro replaced and we tried to get 2D15 for hours with an iPhone XS running the public beta.

Paired it to an iPad running iOS 13 and 5 minutes later they were up-to-date.
Pretty sure there are quite a few on this thread runnings beta and theirs did update.

Did they enable the option to mute the mic while on a conference call with a tap/gesture? I really want to get some AirPod Pros but really need to have mute on the headset rather than on the device. I do a lot of web calls (teams, webex) and being able to mute from the headset would be an awesome feature that I have on my current headset that I don't want to give up.

I just connected my AirPods to my iPhone for a while, then put the AirPods back in their case and put it on the charger. Reconnected after half an hour or so and the AirPods had the new firmware.

Not managing to get Spatial Audio to work on my 2017 iPad Pro. Maybe it’s just too old for the feature. I’m running the latest beta, anyone else having any luck with these models?

I can't get the spacial audio to work and the AirPods 2 are not even updating. Tried un pairing and re pairing them. Still the same. Good to know crappy software updates are still alive and well with Apple.

Just tried it as well, pretty incredible really, “trippy” is the right word.
What content works with this? So far only AppleTV+ has worked for me, no Spotify or Netflix. Is it only Apple?

I was able to force the update by unpairing my AirPod pros and force resetting the case. Happened immediately after that. I’m on iOS 14 beta 8. Everything works great!

Same here (for 2016 iPad Pro) but also not working for 2020 MBP. Updating iPhone to see if that works...

Yay! Finally. And I got my serial number back!

Running public beta. Not charging. Case closed. Connected to WiFi.

Put on treadmill and ran with both phone and AirPod Pros doing nothing.

I just received the update on my PowerBeats Pro (version 3A283). However, I don't see any "spatial audio" functionality in Control Center. Maybe it's not coming to these headphones? Or maybe I'm missing something in terms of how to enable it?

I think we'll have to wait for iOS 14 to find out if the PowerBeats Pro get spatial audio. We shall see...

Hey Harrycooke,

Yeah, having the same issue with mine iPad Pro 10.5" - Settings show update firmware but not getting the Spatial Audio button in Control Center. It showed up on my iPhone XS.
