I did just that on July 1st. Figured since the update it got at MacWorld was the first one in a year, we were stuck at these capacities/pricepoints for another year...go figure.
About time.
Still, I'd rather see an iTunes Server than 2TB Time Capsule..
Does anyone actually care about Time Capsule??? Its too slow IMO to be used for backups.
That's easy. Install a linux machine and install MT-DAAPD (a daap daemon)![]()
What makes you think it is too slow? You just set it up, and eventually you have a backup. First backup takes a while, but who cares?

hehe indeed, I've bought mine 2 months ago. But I don't need moreThe riots will begin soon from people who just bought the old models at the old prices . . .
For mere mortals, easy and linux are two words that just don't go together.
We want a nice simple Apple solution that does all the hard work for you.![]()
Hehe, point takenYou could also get a Mac Mini and share iTunes on that, or some cheap computer and install the windows
o) or mac gui version of mt-daapd / firefly on there.
Wireless fluctuations, Ive never had a wireless system operate at full speed.
