This product seems so un-Apple and like Tim Cook rushed it to market before he retires.

Apple always waited for tech to be a reasonable (price & hardware) before unleashing. This is like if they debuted AirPods in 2012 at a price $799 and the battery lasts 1 hour.
They have been un-Apple like for a while.

Battery life rarely increases for a product line when there is a set of requirements. Only outlier is the AS switch. It probably doesn’t matter if they delay for another year if they got the initial idea/use case wrong.

Oh they might cancel before release though

Apple always decline to comment on the customer complaints, they are perfect, perfect *******

Seems half baked. More effort into the life blood products, phones and iPad. BTW why the wait on new iPads?
It just tells us the “life blood products” won’t have much innovation either, if their new flagship model is like this

It's like the first iPhone- EVERYONE lambasted it because it was expensive AF with NO KEYBOARD.
Ah, no. Not even close. The original iPhone was called the "JesusPhone" by many. People weren't sure how well the virtual keyboard would work, but the whole concept of getting a REAL proper-rendering web browser on a phone, and well-rendered e-mail was widely applauded as revolutionary. Visual Voicemail was also a stunning feature.

If iPhone 1.0 had any ding against it, it was regarding battery life.

So Apple wanted to try and make this thing look cool, which it doesn't, but they created the single strap to make it look different. Every reviewer has said the single strap is a mistake because it is front heavy with all the cameras and the weight isn't balanced and it will start to hurt after a while. You would definitely feel the weight on your face. So, Apple included the jock-strap over your head strap instead, because that properly counter-balances the front so it is a lot less painful to wear. But I bet the fools that wasted money on this thing are wearing it with the single strap because that is what Apple shows in their advertisements. It looks dumb anyway, and even more so with the jock strap attachment over your head.

Someone said that the reddit thread this came from didn’t even have that many posts.

So, if 100,000 say no issues and a few folks, that we don’t even know actually OWN AVP’s, says there’s an issue, well, the clickfish is out there and hungry already all we need now…

There are plenty of people on this thread who have had similar issues, and many of the people who originally reviewed the products complained about the weight, and eye strain issues, etc.
Stop pretending this is all a fallacy.

Self correcting device. I’d rather people had a 1 hour limit on a headset. Maybe people should set themselves an 8 hour limit on their phone.

Thank God, this would have been a full-blown scandal if Vision Pro had been a huge hit. Luckily, it is a huge flop. :)

Its fascinating to me that apple insists on using stainless steel for stuff on your head like vision pro or headphones. Wayy too heavy. Titanium and raise the price a little is the only way

Snowflake alert

totally. just look at this rugged individualist alpha operator

I picture Tim Cook writing checks to all Vision Pro owners like Steve Martin at the end of "The Jerk." 😂
someone in this thread posted an etsy link to an accessory that makes it so the goggles don’t give you black eyes i guess and it was just an optigrab for your forehead
