Truly weird how they missed this week to release the watchOS beta. Heck they even pushed out a new seed for tvOS. I hope they don’t wait two more weeks and release it when they release beta 4 for macOS/iOS/tvOS.
It’s really slow and sluggish and draining battery. They’re probably working extra long to improve performance.

Ha...it don't cost anything to get it downgraded.
Do you that from previous experience?

Maybe I should just deal with it then? My Series 0 took a hit. Should have just updated my iPhone to iOS 11 and not my watch.

Shouldn't there be a thread for each beta, as there are changes, new bugs, bug fixes etc.? OP lists just new features, it doesn't mention any bugs or anything of importance. Having all watchOS releases (final and beta) isn't that convenient.

For one thing, this thread is NOT for bugs, though people seem to forget this and post bugs anyway. It’s for the “little things” that Apple hasn’t mentioned in the keynote or featured it on Apple.com. I do list the main features as well for easy reference.

For the other, watchOS doesn’t have big releases as the mac or iOS, so I don’t see the real point of having a separate thread for each beta, because most people will just post the bugs, and won’t feature the “little things”. Although, point releases of watchOS don’t really contain too many “little things” anyway.

I did state in the previous pages that someone else is free to take on a new thread like this and maintain it and ask the mods to sticky that thread instead, but I haven’t seen anyone do this yet, and I won’t do it myself.

Having problems installing the latest beta. When I click on search for updates it says that can't connect to the watch but I checked the watch is actually connected.

Have tried restarting both the watch and phone still getting the same error. Am on iOS 11 beta 3.

Installed. Initial impressions on a series 0, much much better. The animations are smoother and apps open and close quicker. The dock now seems different. The "cards" are now more spaced out to allow easier tapping. Haven’t noticed any other new things yet. I switched on location services for Watch faces in phone settings but the geofence triangle came up and stayed there for 15 mins. I turned it off again as I think this is what was causing battery drain in beta 2, which for me was fine after I turned this off.

So, out of all the complaints -- or "bug reports", if I'm generous -- that you guys have about the beta software...

How many are discovering fixes after posting here? Can you share what you changed in the OS code?

Or is this just another post-count-boosting conversation thread?

I keep getting the spinning looking for update icon. Has not found the update after 30 mins.

Took mine forever to find the update too...eventually I did a hard restart and the update was there when my phone rebooted. Then it took like 2 hours to download/install

Looks like the Watch app in the Settings and App layout still show missing icons but no missing app icons on the actually iWatch
