From the watch app on iOS; some of the “Apple” apps icons are not showing in the honeycomb. The icons do show under “My Watch” with the exception of maps and music. The icons all display on the actual watch itself.

Still no iPhone Music control?
That's a shame. Tottaly.

That's most likely not coming back.
The iPhone music control has been switched to the Now Playing app where you can favorite and add music to your iPhone library (haven't tested it in beta 4 but wasn't working till beta 3).
It's a damn shame though.

Am I blind, or is it not possible to use "Now Playing" as a complication on watch-faces anymore? All I can seem to find is Music, but that takes me into my Apple Music library and not to "Now Playing".

Yeah, the Now Playing complication was removed from beta 3 in order to leave place to the "Auto-launch Audio Apps" functionality

Battery wise, I'm using it for 4 hours now and it is still at 100%. We'll see if it last 3 days like it would in watchOS 3.

Why on earth would they split now playing and the music app? I use my Apple Watch as a music controller daily. It was super useful being able to see what song it playing and be able to select a song and have all of the controls available as soon as I select a song or playlist. Now whenever I try to select a song on the watch music app it wants to connect to Bluetooth headphones where it used to start playing music on my phone directly.

Because the music app now only controls the music on your watch.

Anyone still suffering really poor battery like only few hours of really non use!?

Has there been a new beta since 2 weeks ago? As mine is saying up to date...

How is the new beta ? I hesitate to upgrade my watch from watch os 3
I don't think there are enough changes or improvements to jump on the beta. I'd wait until release and keep OS3 which runs solidly. Of course if you need to test OS4 for app development, then beta 4 has been the best of the betas.

Beta 4 came out this week, update it

My Apple Watch app keeps telling me that I'm up to date (3.2.3) even after multiple reboots on both devices and also hard resets of the watch- What am I doing wrong? And yes, I am currently on 11 db 4.

Do you have the beta profile for the Apple Watch installed on your watch? Under general / profiles?

Beta 4 seems pretty good battery life wise so far on s0. Will charge for a full day tomorrow and report back.
Battery is better. I did a 2 hour golf workout and burned from 98 to 87.

AutoSleep is working again. Worked on the first two betas and then beta 3 said I slept 1-2 hours a night and now it is back to normal.

Icons are still not working.

Remove and reinstall the beta profile on watch.

Still crap battery life on Beta 4.

9 hours and down to 14% not much useage. When will I learn ? I’m never going to a Beta again. It’s my own fault I’m too impatient.

Seriously? I have Watch OS 4 latest beta. Series 0, 10 hours and 40 mins standby. 84% left. No third party apps installed.

Wow, I wish. Never had battery life as good as that. Series 1 had it about 4 weeks after launch.

I listen to music a lot, I’m wondering if it’s the Now Playing App.

I haven’t had a full day of battery life for over a year. I might try uninstalling third party Apps then.

Does your notification centre always show the location arrow ?

I definitely have found, on both series 0 and series 1, that using the Now Playing App runs the batter down relatively quickly. I hope that this can be fixed eventually in WatchOS 4.

i'm having the same issue - i've reinstalled the beta profile but that doesn't seem to fix the issue.

Just double checking. You show on the watch app under general a profile option and then the WatchOS Beta Software Profile?

No, there is no Public Beta program for the Watch. You should have a profile entitled "WatchOS Beta Software Profile". Sounds like this is the the problem.
