No, there is no Public Beta program for the Watch. You should have a profile entitled "WatchOS Beta Software Profile". Sounds like this is the the problem.
thats it - i'm not a developer - i'm surprised apple allows you to install the iOS beta onto the pone.

I used the elliptical workout to finish off my exercise ring today. I expected that to show up under workouts in the activity app on my phone but it’s not. Is this normal behavior? It does show under history.

People like to play and live on the edge and apple likes more people to find bugs. The watch can brick with no real recovery so they don’t allow... so far... and I doubt they will.

If you really want to live on the edge, you can find the developer beta profile very easy and just open with safari on your iPhone.

At least beta 4 is closer to solid than the others.

So. I uninstalled most of my third party Apps and it’s a bit better, but not much. My wife has an Apple Watch a year newer than mine, on OS3 and she has 69% at this time, I have 11%.

I probably use it more than her, but I wonder what counts as useage ?

Any tips for better battery life ? Might just be OS4. I am convinced it’s probably the Now Playing App.

If you don't have an Apple Developer account I would think hard about it. It seems rare, but if the watch bricks during the watchOS install you will need to send it to Apple for repair and it might require a bit of explaining....

I agree it’s best to wait. I have never had anything bricked. But battery life, re springs, lagging all are difficult to put up with on a daily basis.

Just wait until you can enjoy the experience of new software.

Agreed. I only jnstalled on my old S0 but did finally add to my S2 since beta 4 has been solid. Play with fire and you may get burned. :)

Not sure if this was ever mentioned before, but the timer is different with OS4. More like spin dials. Maybe it was three before and I missed it.

Also, the Hermès watchface added a new fourth font type.

That looks pretty nice! Wish Apple made it available for all Watch models, $600+ more doesn't really justify exclusive watch faces to me...

Looks like Apple didn’t kill the jellyfish after they released the watch? To me it seems like there are new jellyfish animations (using the Motion watchface)

Could also just be me going insane

Had HomeKit working on my watch, but deleted and re-setup HomeKit configuration because I was having some issues; now Watch does not see my HomeKit configuration. Have unPaired and paired my watch, and restarted my phone. No luck. Any ideas? Thx.

Mine worked until WatchOS beta4. I think it may be an iOS beta 4 issue though. I also had multi-person geofencing working until the last update. Now the Share when I’m home option has disappeared from my test phone.

Ah, okay. I thought I had screwed something up when I deleted and recreated.
Thanks

Has anyone else noticed that it takes the watch face a bit longer to come on when using the "raise to wake" feature in beta 4? Hopefully it will be addressed. Sometimes I have to tap on the face to get it to turn on.

I must say battery on beta4 has been stellar. Off the charger at 7am this morning, tracked one 30 min run, and now at 3pm im at 89%
i'm not getting batterylife like that on my watch gen 0 - i only get about half a day - i'm using the SIRI watch face and wonder if that's why.

Mine was like that in b2, fixed in b3, and back to slow in b4.

I experimented with that face and also found my battery drained a lot quicker than normal.

Thanks for the info. I figured it was something that Apple had been working on. I hadn't run any of the previous betas, so I wasn't too sure.

I think the SIRI watch face has a lot of potential but in its current incarnation is not very helpful. I go to work about the same time every day and sometimes it tells me my commute time but, most often it doesn't. When it does it always tells me driving time even though i have public set as my default. yesterday it showed me an article about Trump firing Scaramucchi and its still there today - they need to refresh that better - and fix the battery life using it.

I’m using the Siri watch face for the first time...is it supposed to randomly switch out information on the screen? For example, weather was on display from about 7am-10am this morning, then it randomly dropped off and hasn’t come back up.

if you scroll down you may see the weather for tomorrow -

Yep. I see that. Was just curious why today’s weather would pop up and then go away. Although it makes sense IF it’s just part of “preparing you for the day”

It seems as though news pops up at an appropriate time (middle of the day) and reminders/alarms pop up as needed. I quite like this watch face so far.
