So both the iOS11 GM and the WatchOS4 GM were indeed the FINAL Public versions, I deleted the beta profile file from both the Settings app on the iPhone and in the WATCH app on the iPhone To enroll the devices out of the beta program and continue with public releases from now on

If you are on the Public Beta on iOS., you also have to unenroll online.

Guys on my series 2, WatchOS 4 I noticed this:

Foggy background in dark environment(dark room/during the night). Looks like water under the screen. Can someone check on his/her watch and let me know?View attachment 719094
That’s nothing to be concerned with. That is your watch face showing through. I can’t remember how I turned that off. Maybe accessibility/transparency or if it was a certain watch face. You are just seeing the watch face because of transparency I think.

Not true. Just delete profile and reboot. I’ve never un-enrolled from the public beta program since they started it a couple years ago. Being enrolled does not push anything to your phone.

Yeah, it’s the blurred watch face underneath. Was it not always like this or is it new in wOS4? I’ve been on the betas so long I can’t remember.

With the Siri watch face I can control podcasts from Podcasts.app. Is this unique for the Siri face? Still can’t see any podcast app on the watch.

Looks like a blurred watch face - about 1:10. I get the same thing - change your watch face and try again.

Well, you can't see it in the picture but the background is very blurred and in a very ugly way. It really looks like there is something with the colours or the lightning of the screen. During the day you still can see the watch face from behind (normal behaviour, normal blurriness) although during the night (dark environment) it really looks bad, almost like there is water under the screen. Can someone test it and let me know if they see the same thing or not?
ps: It happens with all watch faces on my device not only the specific one.

Any bug fix for stand notifications? I don’t receive an alert within 10 minutes of the incoming hour if I have been idle. Also no notification is received if I complete said hour before it’s over.

It's the watch face, being viewed through the translucent background (like frosted glass) of the notification pane.

You're telling us you haven't noticed this since 2015?

New music app is very buggy. still have spinning wheel under "heavy rotation" automatically add which I turned off. Also have a playlist synched from apple music (one of their top 50 lists) and only 20 or so songs are synching despite all being downloaded to library. They made some really stupid changes to this.

Yeah, the new music app was designed to support the new Watch with cellular capability to stream music on the go without the device lol

You are not getting my point.

The translucent or blurry background is normal yes. My issues is that my screen gets veeeeeery blurry in a ugly way if I bring down the notification centre in a very dark environment.

Try tonight in your room while all lights are switched off to bring down the notification centre on your watch and pay attention to the translucent background.

Here you go, do you see the difference? Clearly there is something wrong:

During the day: normal backround

During the night/dark environment screen goes crazy -Ghosty background

You’re just seeing more of it.

There are a few of us with this issue. No fixes yet.

**Update** Just checked the bug report I filed, and it's been marked as a Duplicate, so others are clearly having the same issue. Expect this to get sorted out in a future update.

Are you getting the “cling” sound when charging a series 2 watch with os4 ?

After the update to watchOS4 it just shows the charging but no more sound, i thought my charger was fried....

Volume is not muted and night stand is off for me.

Guys I have a question about the Siri watch face. I was super pumped for it because I thought could see my music and photos. From the App in my iphone I made sure just these two things and the weather showed up. The photos never show up, they don't even appear when I move the crown. The music works sometimes. I use Spotify and it does show up what is playing but after a few songs it doesn't show anything, just a random message that says "Have a nice Wednesday" or whatever the day of the week was.

Anyway to make sure the watch shows contantly the music that's being played in that watch face? The photos don't bother me that much.

Did you select Photos in the Data Sources for the Siri face?

For music, I might be wrong, but My Watch > General > Wake Screen > Auto-Launch Audio Apps selected.

Yeah, I made sure from the App in my phone that just those 3 things showed up in that specific Siri Watch Face
