I installed B4 last night. Had a terrible day today. Full of crashes, black screens, reboots, unresponsive, no Siri etc.

The same as all the other people here.

One thing I have noticed, not sure if anyone else has mentioned it. I always used the Simple watch face. Switching to Modular and no crashes at all, it is much more stable.

Still regret installing B4 though. Why didn't I wait, I am so impatient. Preferred a completely stable OS 1.

Poor battery life is the one thing I really can't stand. I might have to take my charger in the car to work tomorrow.

Still, my fault. Although why did Apple release this B4. Can't believe how bad it is.
Ha! You should have seen the other betas 4 is like a dream compared to them. Beta 5 should hopefully be out tomorrow though.

Is a beta planned for those who are in the Public Beta program? I just re-enrolled my iPhone 6+ because of a restore. When I was going to install the profile Apple Watch came up as an option. I dowloaded the profile but no new update for the watch?

Is Apple preparing for a public beta or what kind of profile did i download?

It's once again that Apple product control has confused us. The public beta profile does nothing to the watch and won't opt you into watchOS 2 beta updates. It will only opt you into iOS 9 PB updates by selecting iPhone when installing the profile.

Alright people, Beta 5 is out and I'm impatient!

Anyone have it yet? Notice anything new? How is performance?

Installing now. I hope to god this beta is actually stable. I mean we are on beta 5 now!

Not my experience, B4 has been very stable for me and my battery life is great.
It's been hit and miss for me. Some days the battery was excellent, but sometimes I would try to open an app and it would just stall and drain my battery. Also the screen would occasionally not wake up and I would have to restart my watch.

First impressions on B5 for me would be

*Smoother framerates across the OS
*Smooth framerate when flicking up to view glances
*Maps seems to be getting faster every beta
*The AirPlay icon in the settings glance is now black unlike the other white icons (I can't seem to interact with it)

It's annoying how it has to have 50% battery while charging.

And the keyboard tools in iOS 9 came in handy just now for italicizing :D

I think this is because the magnetic charger is not quite as secure as a connection like the lightning connector and it could possibly detach whilst you are away leaving it to update.

Just my thoughts anyway.

The Apple Watch Music app sees a minor UI upgrade and a new "QuickPlay" option

Hey Siri has gone from being stupidly slow to not working at all for me in this beta. I have to hold down the crown to activate.

9to5Mac have a list:

  • New ‘Quick Play’ button in Music, behaves like a Shuffle All Songs button with easier access
  • Redesigned and more functional Now Playing screen, the Now Playing glance has been updated to match, includes volume level indicator
  • New setting to have screen remain on for 70 seconds, was previously capped out at 15 seconds
  • Modular watch face now contains colour labels (I love this addition)
  • Time Lapse watch face now includes Paris, much less jarring effect now
  • Now Playing glance shows app source that’s playing audio, like Podcasts for example

I've read that the new betas of WatchOS and iOS enable Wifi calls to be answered on the watch. Can anyone confirm this?
