One of the worst betas yet for me. Two random reboots, 'Hey siri' is non-existent (the screen blurs and then nothing), pressing the crown eventually activated Siri but took about ten seconds to appear. It's unusable.

Oh well, back to 1.0.1 on my other Watch.

Does anyone else have extremely slow software updates on the Apple Watch?

Update: Never mind... It appears if you are solely connected to a 5GHz network, nothing will happen. You need to be on a 2.4GHz network for Apple Watch to update

When customizing watch face colors, in beta 5, it now shows the name of the color. (I didn't notice this in beta 4)

I don't know if this was new with beta 4, but the watch now pings when it starts the upgrade process.

It may also be that I'm just noticing it since I had silent mode off when I plugged it with the charger.

EDIT: Oh wow, awesome update! The framerates are so much faster, Siri has become as fast as v1.1 which is such a great thing, and I love that wake up duration on tap option now.

They have tweaked the set goal screen of the Workout app a little:

Is Siri more responsive? My download still says 22 hours!

Re: how long it takes to download/install, I've had this issue upgrading betas in the past (even with beta 5) where the process was projected to take X number of hours. I've found that restarting Apple Watch fixed this issue though, reducing the time it takes to minutes rather than hours once it connects again. Next time, give it a try!

So...is anyone else solving most problems with just unpairing and repairing the watch?

Just got a notification from Facebook Messenger and the icon was very low quality.

Might be a bug or just the icon but I'm pretty sure in beta 4 the icons were much better quality.

I must say so far this update has been great, but only after unpairing and repairing the watch. Haven't used the workout bit yet but indications are good.

My Watch would only send text messages before this update, even to other iPhones, but without changing anything else, it seems to be sending iMessages just fine now.

Agreed, so far this 2.0 beta 5 is about as good as 1.0.1. The black screens of death and retarded Siri seem to be gone.

Cool, do you think it's good enough for a daily driver? Or still only a test Watch?

Anyone else get the AirPlay icon in the settings glance? Doesn't seem to do anything mind you.

I am very impressed so far! I just added the Debit Card to the watch. Apps open up more quickly. The only issue I have noticed that it took a couple of tried to add apps.
