Astronomy watch face is much more saturated in 1.0.1. Just looked at a watch running 1.0 and 1.0.1 side by side and the difference is striking.

actually i suspect the same earth model is shared across apps, here's Astronomy face and the World Clock app, both looking more saturated, which I like better than before

I got this today for the first time. I assume it was the update I have done multiple out door runs and I have used my iPhone every single time.

If my watch ever dares to tell me to do 20 minutes of outdoor running I'll donate it to charity

I haven't done that much running since basic training in the army, and I'm not going to take it up now :p

Message reply options

On Friday, I was messaged by a friend who was waiting for me at a bar, asking if I wanted a glass of "Malbec or Rioja?" When replying, my watch's messages app provided me buttons for both 'Malbec' and 'Rioja'.

Yes, that's cool. What's really cool, though, is that if this was an Android Wear watch you'd now be receiving spam emails, or seeing ads on completely unrelated websites trying to sell you Malbec and Rioja... :p

Not on my watch...pun not intended. But actually, mine seems to be the same?

New "Day" display in Calendar. You can now scroll through the whole day in hours. Before it was just showing a list of your upcoming events.

And you can force touch to change back to the old list view.

Interesting, it doesn't show the last heart rate measured at all for me, even after restarting and checking my heart rate multiple times.

EDIT: Finally showed up. Weird.

Glance doesn't show the last heart rate as soon as you open the glance. But it does in few seconds [while measuring the current heart rate].

Yeah, that's the thing, it didn't show up at all for me, even after waiting a bit.

In fact, it just disappeared again. Oh well. I guess I'll chalk this one as a bug.

pretty sure this isn't new, in 1.0 force press on calendar app give you option to switch between list or this day agenda

This isn't new. Before it just automatically loaded list view and now it has switched to day view. You could always switch between with a force touch...

The only new thing I noticed is that you can swipe while in day view to see different days.

Mine did the same thing after the update and the after a couple restarts it started working.

Aha! Didn't know that. Strange that they changed the default behavior.

Not sure if this is the best place as im after some help.

Just got my watch. Love it so far but one this is annying me a little (think i'll be alone here)

I still wont my phone to sound when i get messages. Ideally i would like to get a haptic buzz from the watch and my phone to go off with my message tone.

Does anyone know if this is piossible?

Alternativly can you change the message tone from the watch?

After the 1.0.1 update my watch is no longer taking my pulse every 10 minutes. Hopefully this will be fixed soon. Any one else have this problem?

With the Solar face, I used to be able to tap on the date & it would open the Calendar app. Now that doesn't seem to work anymore, it just allows me to scroll through the time of day.... I really liked that quick shortcut to calendar :(

that is the calendar app still...just the day view (which apple now has as the default). force touch and choose "list view" to change it back.

The Activity app has gone crazy for me today. I've apparently burnt 863 Active calories, and a massive 8964 Resting calories (and counting).

I have not done anything even mildly strenuous today & would expect to be at about 250 Active at this point.

I updated to 1.0.1 and can't think what else is causing this. I've restarted both the phone & the watch, restarted the Activity app with no change.

Anyone else seen this? Am I going crazy?
