And while you're scrolling through time you can also grab the Moon and twist it around, to take a peek at the far side.

The most beautiful feature I have discovered is as follows. In the astronomy clock face, if you select the image of the moon as background, then tap on the moon. Next, scroll forwards or backwards with the digital crown and the the clock will move also so you can see what moon you will have on any particular day in the future ( or the past ). My next full moon will be on 2 June. Likewise, if the solar system is selected, tap on it and then scroll and you can see what alignment the planets in our solar system will have on any date in the future. ( it looks like we'll be near Mars in May 2016). These features are breathtaking, does Prof Brian Cox have an apple watch? Someone buy him one quickly!!

Once you get to the screen with the moon, tap on the moon once (or scroll to a new date) — the time shrinks to the upper right corner. At that point you can put your finger on the moon and rotate it to see the far side of the moon. Same with the earth view. A double-tap on the solar system view brings up an index of the planets — the watch has Mickey, but no Pluto.

Impressed that the Customize zones are also links

I was really surprised (and impressed) that the customized zones in the corners are not just information, but they are also links! (example: If you choose "date" and then touch the date you go to the calendar. Temperature takes you to weather . . . etc).

Was just messing with this. It seems that at its not a Force Touch that makes this work but rather a "Tap and hold". Force Touching does nothing.

Either one works for me, or it could just be that force touching = tap and hold in this case.

EDIT: Oh I guess you are right, it's just a tap and hold. I was not pressing hard enough to be registered as a force touch earlier

Q: Is there no way to turn of the seconds hand on a watch face?
I would like hours and minutes only.

Siri - Siri only works when the watch face is on. I am sure this is to save battery life so Siri isn't constantly listening but it is limiting especially when driving.

Siri - Siri has trouble with motion watch faces such as Mickey. If you find you are having trouble with "Hey Siri" working consistently then try another watch face such as the Chronograph or Modular.

Chronograph doesn't really have a second hand. The sweeper hand is for the stopwatch and normally just points straight up at 12.

The Chronograph second hand is in the little circle below center. The second hand disappears when the stop watch feature is in use.

Since I am a newbie I can't edit the wiki.

Tapping once (not holding or Force Touching) on your current location (blue circle) will drop a pin, useful for remembering where you left your car for example.

(Added to wiki).

Watch OS 1.0.1 is out! If anyone notices anything new, feel free to add it in to the new list I just created to the first post.

The bluetooth headphone bug seems to be fixed. That was my biggest complaint!

My suspicion is that it was connected to the fact that the watch wasn't connecting by wifi network, only direct wifi when bluetooth was off, as that bug also appears to be fixed.

A bunch of things I noticed:

- The power reserve button is now green. Wasn't it white before?
- The heartrate glance does not show your last BPM any more. Additionally, the BPM readout is a bit different.
- You now get a new notification when you complete all of your activity rings for the day.
- Location based reminders now finally work (previously they were extremely spotty)
- Glances seem much faster to load
- Wrist raise detection has been improved, it wakes up a lot faster than it did in 1.0
- Hey Siri works flawlessly now.

Not on my watch...pun not intended. But actually, mine seems to be the same?

I noticed this too, but basically it seems that the view switched after the restart. You can force touch to switch between List and Day view -- there is also a shortcut to "today" in case you were looking in the future and needed to quickly return.

It still shows my last BPM reading

Interesting, it doesn't show the last heart rate measured at all for me, even after restarting and checking my heart rate multiple times.

EDIT: Finally showed up. Weird.
