Well, since I am not able to edit the main post yet. I'll just throw some more minor/small finds as a comment here.

No problem, and I'll continue to add it in :), thanks so much, these are great, especially the dropping the pin one. For some reason, I didn't think that was possible. I did try but didn't see an option too. I guess I was just tapping it.

Thanks! I went on a mad posting spree and am able to edit the main post now, in the event that I find anything else.

Yeah that pin one nearly got past me, too. The first couple times I tried didn't seem to work.

I just added a tip under Music: while listening to a playlist, you can skip to the next song by saying "hey Siri next song."

Yep, same with "hey Siri, previous song" or "hey Siri, pause the music" or "hey Siri, play more songs like this", etc.

Also, "hey Siri, stop" (synonym for pause) and "hey Siri, replay" (to start current song over)

I agree the thread should be sticky.

This is such a great work!

A helpful one for me is having Siri list most all of the tasks it can do with the command "Hey Siri, what can I ask?"

I decided not to show the current date in any complications since I usually remember what day it is. However, if there's any doubt, a click of the crown shows the app icons — the calendar app always shows the date and day of the week.

Not sure if this has been stated or not, but I find it worth repeating.

If you are attempting to change the city In the Weather app, and the option of "Current Location" does not appear, you have not activated the location setting for Weather. See instructions below:

Settings > General > Privacy > Location Services > ON, (scroll down) Weather > ON

Map Navigation: After you tap Start and head off on your first leg, Apple Watch uses taps to let you know when to turn. A steady series of 12 taps means turn right at the intersection you’re approaching; three pairs of two taps means turn left. Not sure what your destination looks like? You’ll feel a vibration when you’re on the last leg, and again when you arrive.

Backup & restore :Apple Watch content backs up automatically to your paired iPhone, and you can restore it from a stored backup. Apple Watch backups are included as part of your iPhone backups to iCloud or iTunes, but you can’t view information in the backups in iCloud.

Backing up and restoring Apple Watch. When paired with an iPhone, Apple Watch content is backed up continuously to iPhone. If you unpair the devices, a backup is performed first. If you repair Apple Watch or get a new one, you can choose Restore from Backup and select a stored backup on your iPhone.

simply linking to this guide would be good.. ;-)

I prefer the 'Coles Notes'...

:)

not sure what that means, but I simply meant if we're just going to copy paste from the official apple users guide (as others above have done instead of items that are not IN the users guide) we might as well just post a link?

Actually probably just putting the link though on the front page is a good idea though. ;-)

It's the Canadian 'Cliffs Notes'...

;)

The watch app icon in the homescreen always shows the current time as well.

So apparently the Watch switches to a different country's keyboard automatically if you get a text message from a person using a foreign keyboard: http://www.reddit.com/r/AppleWatch/...weeks_in_and_i_have_discovered_something_new/

That's so cool, and amazing that they even thought of this.

I does . A few days ago I got a text in french but as the first word was "Hello" all the answers were in english ;)

In my family we all speak a mixture of both languages , often in one phrase . This is going to be fun to watch ! From what I've seen , it looks like it's the first word that counts to define the replies...

But as you said , it's really cool !

The most beautiful feature I have discovered is as follows. In the astronomy clock face, if you select the image of the moon as background, then tap on the moon. Next, scroll forwards or backwards with the digital crown and the the clock will move also so you can see what moon you will have on any particular day in the future ( or the past ). My next full moon will be on 2 June. Likewise, if the solar system is selected, tap on it and then scroll and you can see what alignment the planets in our solar system will have on any date in the future. ( it looks like we'll be near Mars in May 2016). These features are breathtaking, does Prof Brian Cox have an apple watch? Someone buy him one quickly!!

Or Neil degrasse Tyson. He's actually a big Apple fan. Still lugs around his 17" Macbook Pro.

I agree, for the clock faces, they did the details right. No company that has a smartwatch out right now has put this much thought into clock faces.

So when's your next full moon?
Edit : duh!! just realized how stupid. It's been a long day!!
