Hi, ı want to ask about friend list. Watchos 3 deleted friend list. Where go?

Nowhere. This feature has been deleted in watchOS 3 and the side button now triggers the dock (a scrollable, live-tile list of your most-frequently-used apps). To message now, you need to involve the Messages app in one of 3 ways (excluding a reply to a notification): through the honeycomb home screen, by adding it as a dock app, or by adding it to a watch face as a complication.

Sup guys. I'm on the latest beta and my
Microphone has stopped working. At first I thought it was Siri /voice dictation but I can't even be heard when I receive a phone call through the watch.

Was wondering if any one else is experiencing issues with their microphone while on beta or if I need to rule this issue as a hardware one.

Ps I already went to the geniuses at apple and they were unable to run a diagnostic on the watch. I'm assuming that's Bc of watchOS beta.

That's right. But i liked friend list wheel in watchos 2. That was very useful. Now in watchos 3 for writing a message to someone in my friends is very diffucult. Because i have about 2000 friends. Now i must find person by scrolling list all time

You could also use Siri.

Question:

Say I have three watch faces. The first watch face has zero complications but the other watch faces have multiple complications. If I'm walking around with the first watch face on, are the complications on the second watch face already loaded into memory?

I want to keep my first watch face minimal but then be able to swipe and launch apps on the other watch faces instantly.

I believe it depends if there is enough memory to keep the apps in memory. At least in my opinion it would be pretty stupid to actively remove apps from memory when you switch watch faces. But apps in other watch faces aren't guaranteed to remain in memory. Also I have noticed that it takes some time - if it ever happens - before the apps are launched in the background when you switch watch face. Pretty much every time I switch watch faces and try to launch an app that's in that watch face, it takes it's normal time to launch. But that could also just be that I don't wait long enough before launching such app.

If you want those apps to remain in memory you have to add them to your dock.

In the dock or as a complication. You can have as many as 16 apps in memory - 10 in the dock plus last loaded and I think the most complications possible is 5

Alright...I'm itching for WatchOS3. Since I'm not a developer, I'd have to load it using one of those profile links. Would you do this at this point, if you were me? Or should I just show some patience and wait 1-2 weeks? This is the upgrade, of all of them, that I really, really want! </endchildishrant>

At this point, I would wait. If it failed, you may have to send it in and miss the release.

If you plan to buy a new AW2... go for it!!

As it is so close to the release, the betas (iOS and wOS) should now be pretty much stable so you might as well go ahead and install. But as the GM versions might come out after today's keynote I would at least hold on until then. The final version - which is most likely the same version as the GM - will likely be released next week around Wednesday (assuming that the new iPhones - and maybe the new Watch as well - goes on sale next Friday).

I may do that.

For those on the GM, let us know if the mapping features return in run workouts. Hopefully the GPS features of AW2 have not caused them to get rid of the wifi interpolation method of tracking.

I must say the GM is performing very fast on my watches. I have had every watchOS 3 beta them but this is definitely better than them all.

From the hands on today - looks like the water droplet is back as the "lock" icon during the workout (was in a few of the betas then taken away):

Wonder if the GM version has features specific for the watch 2. Apple hasn't said if we're getting the hiking app for instance.
