The original call from Android or analog landline to my iPhone? I dont show that feature with voice mail on my Apple watch.
Analog? Not in quite some time. (the carriers long ago changed to VoIP on the back end), so the PSTN hasn't been the PSTN in reality in quite some time.

Pretty sure you need to have the visual voicemail service from your cellular carrier that is compatible with iPhone for the transcription to text to work.

transcription seems to work just fine from android, landline or iphone to my iphone (of course it's an iphone) to my apple watch.. running WatchOS3 b5

Shouldn't the apps be optimized for OS3, though?

This is the main reason why I do not update my Apple Watch to the beta.

Developers are not allowed release WatchOS3 apps till right around the Gold launch. some developers are able to jury rig WatchOS 2.x apps to run on WatchOS3 using the API's on WatchOS2.x.

Things are running pretty smoothly though.. but question.

for EXERCISES, is the amount of TIME and such no longer consider ACTIVITY. I've done two walks today, 1.5 and 1 miles, nearly 45 minutes of walking (i know, I'm recovering).. and the workouts show up on the activities, but my GREEN exercise minutes show 4/30? Normally this would show 50/30 or something like that.. is that number now only NON EXERCISE related activities?

I'll update this here though to say, the transcription ONLY seems to be available on the ALERT drop down for a voicemail and not directly through the PHONE app on the watch under voicemail. It's just not there.

I agree I wasn't able to view the transcription for the voice mail either.

It's just that the watch didn't consider you to be walking briskly enough today.

You can see the current time during a pop-up notification. I'm not sure when this was added but I think it's quite recent because less than a month ago I just about shot Tim Cook an email regarding the inability to see the time in a notification. This would be frustrating before, because you'd go to check the time and have to do a swipe gesture to get them simultaneous notification out of the way. Now they just need to add the time to the notifications overlay.

Just noticed a new little thing I never found before: when looking at the dock, you can swipe along the dots at the bottom of the screen to quickly scrub through all your docked apps. Behaves like the iOS 8 app switcher.

This was featured in the WWDC keynote. :) Actually surprised the feature that scrolling functionality and not scrolling with the crown.

Hi everyone, I installed the last public beta a few days ago, and I find my watch really slow compared to watchOS2... Does anyone have the same issue ?

Well, for one, there is no public beta. I would restart the Watch first and see if that helps. If not, unpair/re-pair it with your phone.

Ok thanks for your answers.
Finally I found something : According to the Watch face you choose (complex or not), the UI is more or less reactive...

Beta 6 improved battery during workouts while still performing much better at keeping my heart rate. Golfing on Tuesday I didn't lose the heart rate once over two hours using my quick save Golf Workout (Workout-Other).

Two hours of golf burned 21% battery.

Out of interest, may I ask which arm-band you use? Does your watch get to move around a little bit on your wrist, or does it stay firmly put?

Leather loop. Cause of my small arm size I found it very comfortable and easy to adjust during the day

Definitely one of my sport bands. Normally I wear the large band on hole three. During golf I put on the fourth hole. But, its golf and there is too much impact and swinging and sweat to keep that bad boy in one place. I start with it tight and maybe a half inch from the crown to wrist bone. It kept moving down to flush with the wrist bone but never lost the heart rate and I could slide it back up... only to go right back down on the first swing. Never lost the heart rate.
