Ya I was wondering if this happened to me also. I ordered a blue sport band later that ships next week so wondering if they are holding my watch because of this. Would kind of be a bummer if that is true. I did two separate orders also.

Apple Watch Order Statuses Shifting to 'Preparing for Shipment'

Ya I was wondering if this happened to me also. I ordered a blue sport band later that ships next week so wondering if they are holding my watch because of this. Would kind of be a bummer if that is true. I did two separate orders also.
I just went in and cancelled the sport band. It is still showing the same timeframe for the green as when I ordered. I figure I can reorder the sport band after I get the watch.
Those who paid with Apple Pay double check your orders
Seems like apple of all people should be aware how their apple pay system works and its limitations with regards to pre-orders. I actually did not plan on using apple pay but when it was presented to me as a payment option I opted for it thinking it would be the fastest.
Whats worse is that i didn't get any emails or anything informing me what had happened. Had I not checked order status my order would have potentially been cancelled due to my credit card being denied.. allegedly

Cool will be curious to see if you watch ships now that you canceled the band. Thinking they ran the program to figure out who to ship to yesterday so thinking we are still stuck in a later batch. They should have shipped watches in the order that orders were placed but doesn't seem to be the case.
Ugh! They charged me for apple care but not the watch! Still says processing! Hopefully by end of today it will change!
I feel the same. I ordered a link band and it won't be shipping until may; my order confirmation was sent at 12:02 EST.
You're still processing because you are in the second wave of shipments. Even the people with a 4/24-5/8 window that ordered the 42 SS black sport band has gotten past the processing stage yet. I would think they are going to fill those first, and then move to the 4-6 week people.
Here's hoping we see some SS 42 black sports getting some shipment progress today....At least for the first wave of preorders.

I ordered at 2:02 cst and got my confirmation at 2:03 and nothing yet. I wonder why they are taking longer on pinks.
I ordered mine with a response at pretty much the exact same time 12:03 PST, no extra items on the order at all. Verified with an order specialist that my card is fine as well. Still in processing.

I ordered a extra watch band in a separate order but looks like that isn't the issue. Wonder if there is some sort of delay with the SS and black band that is the same combo and confirmation time I have. Was expecting to be in the initial shipment with such a early order looks like I was wrong. grr
I ordered the milanese loop 42mm ss (12:04am PST email). On a seperate order I ordered the green sport band on a seperate order that was schedule for delivery in 2-4 weeks. I went in this morning and cancelled the sport band to see if it causes the order to move up to preparing for shipping. The sport band is still showing the same timeframe, so I will just reorder the sport band once I get the watch.

The watch says "prepping for shipment". The band says "processing".

I used to travel to Europe a lot and Germany was one of my favorite countries to visit. I hope to move there someday, but it depends on job availability which can be difficult.
Am I the only one that ordered the SG Sport at 2:03 (CST) and got the 4-6 week window? Seems strange that some others got the 4/24-5/8 window after me. Oh well. What's an extra 2 weeks? I've lived this long without it.
