Good shout actually, added it to the mood board

If you have to photoshop the pic to try and make your point, it is a failure to begin with. That bottom pic is completely fabricated. The top left is real. But you know that it would make your comparisons seem totally silly so that's why you included the manipulated picture.

I’ll hold my final judgement for in person, but this thing looks like it was inspired by a public park toilet. Jony Ive come back!
You know Jony designed a toilet back in his early days.

And I can’t find another old article now, but the lustrous white and polished metal finishes of the original iPod were inspired by the gleam of porcelain and chrome bathroom fittings!

Yeah maybe he wouldn't have but he also ok'd the butterfly keyboard so he wasn't perfect.
People always say that here, but I've always figured it really went that the design team laid out dimensions for the laptop, the engineers said "that's too small, we need more room", design team said figure it out and figuring it out was the butterfly keyboard. I have no way of knowing for sure, not sure I've ever read Jony designed the butterfly keyboard or was the one the okay it.

Very hard to imagine this isn‘t supposed to come with some sort of silicone casing that the protruding screen and buttons fit into.

The more I think about it, the more I believe there will be 2 versions of the Apple Watch Pro. A smaller version and a bigger version, like the leaked design we're looking at. I just can't imagine smaller-framed individuals being able to comfortably wear a 47mm face Apple Watch not only when working out, but also during casual wear.

Another leak? No idea if this is the actual crown...but here you go.

I love my Garmin too but it’s no Apple Watch. I put it away as soon as I complete my run or hike. I have a garmin edge for my bike so there is that. Once again Apple isn’t interested in this niche sports.

Tell me a better looking watch?
Really? Ummmm, the current Apple Watch. One that doesn’t have to be flossed daily.

I’m not a small guy at 6’2”, but, if they make a small version, I’m all in.

I’m curious what you consider “very long”. The Apple Watch could accommodate a 9 hour activity. I realize there is a minority of people running longer than 9 hours but there is an incredible amount of disinformation when it comes to battery life claiming it will not make it through a day without any activities or that it’s only good for a 10k. They clearly don’t actually own one.
Apple quotes 7 hours for a GPS activity with the heart-rate sensor on. That's sufficient for 99.99% of my workouts. It's definitely enough battery life to use for almost any activity I do. But still it'd be nice to have a little more for those rarer all-day excursions. Ultra-long bike rides, etc. Totally understand that Apple should not do something that doesn't even fit 0.01% of the activities of the person who requested the feature. It's unreasonable for sure. Just, you know, nice to have.

Weird no rumors have point to waterproofing. Dive watches are all the rage. Will apple create the first dive smart watch?

The side on picture of the watch reminds me of a marmite jar!

I am really hoping the leakers have got it wrong because it’s not looking good…will be able to save money at least

At this point I'm thinking it's some major battery and maybe sat communication for "multi day hiking trips with just your watch" but maybe under screen camera will be in there too and that's why they needed even more bulge and flat surface?

My prediction is it will have more battery for multi day trips as you say - but also more. I think it will have the Rockley Photonics sensor for the core body temperature function, and also for determining hydration - with more measurements to come later.

Oh true if you have passcode enabled. Good point. I've currently got that disabled but I know some people use it.
You have to enable the pin if you want to use Apple Pay (doesn’t every AW owner use Apple Pay) and it’s really not a big deal to type a pin once per day. Putting Touch ID on the watch would be a giant waste of space which could be used for a bigger battery.
