All are available for pickup today at one or another of the stores in my area.
Given how far in advance they set the October 5th date, there's no reason the software delivery couldn't have been targeted for Sept 22nd. After all it's an update to existing software not an entirely new product.
By the way, just as Nike Support told me by email, they've finally implemented pausing the NRC watch app by pressing the crown & side button simultaneously. VERY handy for the end of a race when you can't exactly stop in the chute to let auto-pause engage while you try to dry off your hands enough to register on the touchscreen.

That's an improvement. It really irks me that Apple continues to use the valuable physical buttons for fairly pointless tasks. You know how many times I actually need to go to the 'all apps' screen? Almost never. Yet the primary button on the device is used for that. Give us a gesture to access that option and let the crown button be used as a physical 'select' button - to select whatever menu selection is currently active, or for 3rd party app developers to use for things like start/stopping a workout, etc.

unfortunately, in my country 6th is national holiday. I was hoping getting it earlier but i think only on the 6th as is yet to be shipped
CC now charged but same "order in progress". As of 2:19 pm-preparing to ship. Yay!!!

My platinum band 38mm is preparing to ship as well! (I ordered 38 black ss from Best Buy. Still waiting on that). But marathon on Sunday so a new band will look good with current watch

Yes but that is often the case. The first wave of Watches for the USA are on UPS 81 which is about to land in Anchorage in the next 20 minutes.
