Yeah, I feel that when I use the machines at the gym, my phone gets in the way and doesn't do as good of a job tracking the steps that an Apple Watch would.

The fact that I always watch video on iphone during ellipse took out one of the two ways I need cellular watch(the other is running in the park). So I went for the GPS only version.

Congrats on receiving yours early!! It is not entirely uncommon for a third party vendor to accidentally let one slip through the cracks and show up early. (In this case, Verizon.)

I ordered mine from Apple within 1 min of pre-ordering going live, and I have zero movement yet...but there should be soon!
