I've only seen an Android watch at my nail salon. People were gathering around to see *Thee*  Watch in person! Question is.... Who the heck bought all of those watches???
Afterthought~ I didn't care for the Android Watch.

I live in NYC and have yet to see anybody wearing one. I'm always checking out devices on the train too. I'm surprised there aren't more around.

I've seen only 4 or 5 people, but I live in NYC, so basically no one

also, I get asked about it all the time

Spotting people with an Apple Watch here in London is like buses. You don't see any for a long time and they all come at once. You would think in a city as big as London this wouldn't be the the case yet I had not seen any until this past Friday which is about 10 weeks after launch. I was in the pub with work colleagues after work and there was a guy in there with a 42mm Stainless Steel model with a black sport band. Then on the same day on the way home on the bus I saw a guy with a 42mm Aluminium Sport model although I couldn't tell what strap he had. Then today I was having lunch in a local restaurant and I saw another guy with a 42mm Stainless Steel model with a black sport band.

I went to a friend's 50th bday party late last month. Her sister and her brother-in-law were there and they both had apple watches. A co-worker also has one. BUT, since these were all arranged meetings (party and work) I'm reluctant to classify them as "in the wild" sightings. To me that suggests random strangers that you just happen to run into. Just like Apple employees in the apple store don't count either.

So, I'll have to say that I have YET to see any in the wild. But, I really haven't been looking.

I saw a random mom-ish looking lady with a 38mm SS. She did not look tech savy at all. I was baffled to say the least.

I'm an older "mom-ish" looking woman and I'm pretty sure people can't tell by looking at me that I work in IT. :)

(I have a 38mm SS too)

I was at a restaurant, Indian, on Saturday night. The place was packed. I didn't see one Watch.

I was watching NBA Summer League on TV and Vince Carter was on the bench (probably doing some informal coaching and generally networking/hanging out; obviously not playing in summer league) and he was wearing an Apple Watch. Looked like SS w BSB.

I've also seen a few people on the subway with the Apple Watch and three other guys in the office have it besides myself.

On the 4th of July in DC I was at a dinner and a kid no more than 8 yrs old had an Apple Watch!

Same experience (I'm from UK too). In all the time that the watch has been available, I have only seen 4 in the wild - and three were on the same day! Weird huh...

3 in business class on Virgin Atlantic flight to London in early June. In SFO thE American Airlines agent had one. On shuttle from LAX to Parking Spot yesterday saw 2 on shuttle. I have seen another 5-6 in malls and restaurants in suburbs of LA.

That's ridiculous. A kid that young has no business with an Apple Watch or an iPhone.

Some people have a very limited world view. Now if we are arguing on health grounds I could see there maybe something to it (but nothing has been proven about wearing an apple watch)

in the uk and I've seen zero apple watches

What the hell does a kid need one of these for? Games?? :p Or just to show off? An iPod touch is all they need in my opinion as well as a simple dumb phone.

If you are going to give a kid iPod touch + dumb phone, wouldn't it be simple to just give him an iPhone? That way, kid has to carry only one device.

I've been stopped a few times by other Apple Watch owners who've seen mine and just wanted to say hi. Which was a little alarming at first considering interactions on the London underground are usually something along the lines of:

*Train running late*
Person 1: There's a surprise.
Person 2: Bloody typical.
/interaction.
