I live in Los Angeles but it took me a month before I saw another one on someone else... A guy in front of me in line at a sandwich shop..... We just stared at each other for a second, gave each other a knowing mod, then gently touched watches together. It was a special moment.

Or what really happened is that I noticed his watch and went about my business ;)

Only seen 1 other person with one, guy at the gym has a 42mm space grey sports. But he is also wearing a fitbit on the other wrist so not sure if its his, or he is reviewing it?

There is a co worker at my place who has the same 42mm space grey sports as me too.

Being an ex apple employeeI know a LOT of people with the watch, my friends list for digital touch is full of apple watch owners.

Still meet up with some of the guys for football on a Sunday. Last week there where 8 of us, all with the same space grey sports apple watch. It sucked being the only one who paid full price for one, but I was the only one to get mine on launch day.

Watching practice coverage for British GP (F1) last week on TV, I saw Gutierrez (not an active driver, but reserve driver for Ferrari) wearing a Space Grey Sport while watching cars go by track side.
 
The watch has been out for some time now. The question is how many Apple Watches have you seen in public so far? For me, its only one, a Facebook employee who was in the area for a FB conference.

When new phones come out, I tend to see them quickly. That's not the case so far for the watch. I know the sales figures are different, but just curious to what others see.
 
I was on the bus and saw one on the wrist of a guy driving a car next to the bus. That's the closest I've been to one outside of an Apple Store.
 
A guy in the seat in front of me on the plane was wearing SS with ML. When we were disembarking I noticed him sending a text message via Siri. Cool.
 
I don't normally notice such things, but a shop assistant in a Bakersfield (more or less) mall store noticed mine and showed me hers. Very cool!
 
Drove through downtown Stillwater, MN today and anyone who knows this area, it is hell to try and move through the town with all the traffic. At the stoplight, a husband pushing a baby in a stroller and wife both had the stainless steel - his was classic leather and hers was sport black - no idea if the baby had one.

I've seen a few. Once in a restaurant in Toledo, OH. I've seen two at a Starbucks. The first guy was sitting outside tuning his guitar; the second was a barista. I find myself looking at people's wrists all the time. Haven't seen them on any women yet, only men.

Haha I'm doing the exact same thing! I've been extremely aware of other people's wrists lately. Unfortunately I haven't yet seen one in person. Yet. The first one ever will be my own I think.
 
Saw a guy at the vet this weekend doing the exact things I don't want to see people doing with their Watch:
  1. Ignoring his child while trying to somehow reply to a message
  2. Sounds on with high volume
 
I've seen a few, and mostly on women. I've had quite a few people ask me about mine (my wife has as well) and a couple said they had ordered one but hadn't gotten it yet. I think within a couple more months we'll start really seeing them. I've seen more of these than I saw of the original iPhone within just a couple months of when it came out.
