My Ultra with Green Alpine is arriving today, looking forward to it. I was wondering how it will feel compared to my S7 Aluminum, and is it comfortable enough to sleep with?
Be interested in your feedback. Also with a s7 aluminium and keep eyeing up the ultra…My Ultra with Green Alpine is arriving today, looking forward to it. I was wondering how it will feel compared to my S7 Aluminum, and is it comfortable enough to sleep with?

Neit‘s available in the clockology channel in Telegram. Clockology Channel. You need to search for it in the channel. I think it was posted around Sept 12. I don’t have a membership and it works with no problems.
Nevermind! I finally figured it out!Thanks! I found it on the Telegram Clockology Channel, and downloaded it to my iPhone Files folder, but I don’t seem to be able to sync it to the Clockology Faces App or to my Watch. Any suggestions on how to get it on my Watch? Thanks again for your help!
As much as I like the Alpine loop, the orange one specifically (because it matches the international orange accents on the watch), I’d like an orange Ocean band too! Haha.
Very interesting post - thanks! There is a graphic that shows how Apple intends the extension to be set up, on the box I think. What you did looks like what I remember seeing. On the skin contact point, does turning off "wrist detection" help?I used my AW Utra on a couple of shallow test dives yesterday.
<snip>
I had bought the extended strap so that it would fit over my drysuit sleeve. I don't know whose Hulk-sized wrists this is designed for but there was so much excess strap! I don't know what the design plan for it was either so I just reversed the direction and fed the excess strap back over itself and under the clasp. Once tucked away the strap was fine but it didn't feel it was being used as intended.
I then tried to use the watch, well of course there's no skin contact and the screen lock keeps reactivating. So I think this is Apple being typically Apple and assuming everyone operates in nice conditions where they dive in shortie wetsuits. Once the Action Button is activated however, or the watch is submerged, the Depth app triggers and the screen stays activated.
Weird question but does anyone else feel the new crown is too big? Depending on the placement of the watch at any given time it makes the crown hard to turn now where I never had that problem. Whether it be arm hair or it impacting my arm, I’m not sure.
I actually wear it fairly loose due to using the link bracelet. Honestly think it’s my arm hair but the new crown is just too big for my liking.

link bands and hairy arms don't go together on any watchI actually wear it fairly loose due to using the link bracelet. Honestly think it’s my arm hair but the new crown is just too big for my liking.
No, just cheap link bands. I don't have the Apple one, but my Tag Heuer link band never grabs my arm hair.link bands and hairy arms are don't go together on any watch
It looks great does the loop get in the way or annoying?So I've finally got my hands on the blue/grey trail loop this morning.
As someone who has used the Nike sport loop almost every day, the trail loop feels smoother, softer and more premium.
The blue accent really pops and it’s easily the most comfortable out of three types of ultra bands.
Definitely worth the wait!
