Can someone help me?

Is there a possibility to answer messages with text on the Watch Ultra? Or is this only available in Mail?

Apple know what they are doing and I am sure that they knew that the Ultra would attract more than adventurers and athletes. It’s a good thimg too that the Ultra has healthy sales because hopefully that will ensure there is an Ultra 2 next year. Hopefully it will have additional sensors, a reduced bezel as I am sure there is potential for that and perhaps a DLC titanium versionin black

A DLC version would be the easiest version 2 for them and I would jump on that - Would look stunning!

Yes, mine is perfect because it comes with plastic frames which position the protector corectly onto the watch. It also comes with a little squeegee to push out any bubbles. I have installed about 20 screen protectors on various devices over the years and these new ones which come with installation frames are almost foolproof.
Are the edges of the protector flat / sharp or is it a curved edge that tapers down towards the screen?

There is a very small edge which is useful for removing the protector when it becomes time to remove it. A tapered design would probably feel smoother. However, this watch already has a sharp titanium edge compared to the regular watch so you already feel that with your finger.

Anyone go from an AW6 or AW7 to the AWU and have buyer's remorse?

Don't be embarrassed... I am the king of buyer's remorse, and admitting it is the first step in feeling better. :p

Buyer’s remorse is usually reserved for people that have a poor understanding of their purchase. I think I speak for the majority that the AWU is what we expected and are thrilled with it. I gave my 6 to my child who had a 3. It’s good to be king 👑

My local Apple Store had an AWU with the Alpine Green loop available for pickup, so I decided to pull the trigger after lusting after it for the past couple of weeks. You only live once, right? I ordered it online and went to pick it up after work earlier today, trading in my AW7 Nike. The AWU makes the AW7 look like a toy. Zero buyer’s remorse here.

Apple Watch Ultra - 2022

This Apple Watch Ultra is making me book a trip to Iceland 🇮🇸 or Antarctica 🇦🇶. Hitting the extreme weather conditions. Loving my Apple Watch Ultra.

What Are You Waiting For? 😅😈

You know the words are similar to what Ernest Shackleton wrote as an ad back in the day.

Question.. do you all think the ultra would be worth upgrading to if you have a Series 6 Apple Watch?

A few things to keep in mind.
- I don't do extreme sports or scuba diving like the watch is targeted towards. But I DO go hiking from time to time.
- I do use my Series 6 for my gym workouts and outdoor walks etc.

Just trying to decide if I should get the ultra, series 8, or just hold on to my series 6 for another year and see what Apple comes with next year.
Do you prefer the look of it? If yes. Yes. If no. No. Any Apple Watch will suffice for your needs. The difference just comes down to which one you prefer the look of.

Not true at all... the Ultra has many benefits over a Series 6 including battery life, a programmable side button, and a much larger screen.

I am coming from a Series 7 and find the Ultra battery life to be incredible, appreciate the programmable side button, and find the flat screen much easier to interact with. Not to mention it has a much larger screen than the version 6. A worthy upgrade for certain!

I’m coming from S7 as well, and concur on all counts. This is the most significant AW upgrade since Series 0. Also, I absolutely love the way it looks. Design-wise, it’ll be very hard to top.
