Yes we have no weather here in Virginia today 🎵Also Weathertron app hasn’t worked for at least a week and is stuck at “loading loading loading“ so leads me to speculate online weather data sources are an issue, NOAA? NWS?

Thot so and makes sense - question is whose server(s)? NOAA? NWS? Apple? AWS?It’s a server side issue, not an iOS issue.

We call that a “rain shadow”.This has been happening for ages. The rainfall map often also has a complete dead spot just in my area, you can see the clouds moving across adjacent areas and then there's a clear rectangle as it passes over where I am and then re-appears the other side. 🤷♂️
I wrote to Apple 6 months ago, telling them how poor & inaccurate the app has become, up until 2 years ago, it was 99% accurate and I don't remember any outages....this is their response 😡In my experience the weather app shows a wider variety of information since the Dark Sky acquisition but it’s frequently incorrect or slow to load. The widget and the app often show information from hours or even days ago.
It could have been great but it feels like it is getting worse and worse.
Mine has been doing it for a week now, but I did not do the recent update yet. Must be global warming.😉5 hours ago? It's been happening since they push iOS 16.4 update
Well for anyone who needs to know it’s actually a gorgeous sunny day here in london.
