Nah that 16" is still a good performer, especially for video but also great for music.Well, colour me intrigued Apple. *Please don't be a new 16" MacBook Pro as I just bought on on a great deal and didn't think Intel had anything in their roadmap to suggest an update was coming...
The new Mac mini reverts to a silver aluminum case, though.Limited processor availability. That’s why the Intel models are still around, and they have advantages like 4 USB-C ports, options for more ram, and options for 10GB Ethernet.
Because the Intel models are still sticking around, Apple decided to opt for the same exact design, to keep the Mac mini uniform across-the-board. Once the Intel models are completely discontinued, that is when you will see a redesign of the Mac mini, along with options for much more specifications.
I’m actually going to wait for the AirTags Pro Max 2Ss, as I really don’t want to be a de facto beta tester for the rev 1 of that product, you know?Hold out for the AirTags Pro Max, they'll be twice the size with a better camera and allow you to order Apple products just like how the Amazon Dash Buttons work
Airtags would make sense before Christmas, cheap and be a stocking stuffer
When Apple introduce the space gray Mac mini in 2018, they said that they did it so the design would look more professional. The new Mac mini reverts to a silver aluminum case, though.
I’m going to go out on a limb and say that pretty much everybody knows roughly how they’re gonna look, or at least won’t be surprised by the form factor; more-or-less exactly how they might function (through “Find My”); that the cost will be higher than competing products while, at the same time, still somehow feel compellingly inexpensive to anybody already used to the ever-pricey Apple ecosystem; and know that there ain’t gonna be no subscription fee for no AirTags, man. Where’d that some from? Subscription fee for friggin’ AirTags?!? 🤣I also find it funny that people are hoping its airtags when we have no real idea of what AirTags look like, how they function, and what the cost/subscription model will be, let alone that they are something that even exists at this point.
Anyone that has purchased an M1 is still well within the holiday return window. Otherwise, yeah, that would cause some serious rage.32 GB AS Macbook Pro with 4 Thunderbolt ports and support for multiple displays.
That would piss off so many people 😂
My guess as wellYou wanna know what it is?
Ok I’ll tell you... late 2020 16 inch MacBook Pro with 10th gen Intel
Feels like bringing the M1 to the Apple TV wouldn't be super duper hard, and please correct me if I'm wrong but M1 is more powerful the A Series chip we have in iPhone, iPads etc?M1 is a Mac chip. The new Apple TV would have an A14.
Following a busy fall season in which it hosted three events in as many months, Apple may have one more product announcement in store this year.

In an internal memo this week, obtained by MacRumors from a reliable source, Apple informed service providers that it has AppleCare-related changes planned for Tuesday, December 8 at approximately 5:30 a.m. Pacific Time. Specifically, Apple has advised technicians to prepare for new product SKUs, new/updated product descriptions, and new/updated product pricing, according to the memo.
Apple has issued nearly identical memos ahead of several previous product announcements. Shortly after announcing its iPhone 12 event this year, for example, Apple advised technicians to prepare for the same AppleCare-related changes, including new product SKUs, new/updated product descriptions, and price changes, on October 13 at approximately 10 a.m. Pacific Time, which is when the event began.
While it is unlikely that Apple will be hosting another event this year, 5:30 a.m. Pacific Time has been a common time for Apple to issue press releases introducing new products, such as a new 13-inch MacBook Pro in May 2020, the 16-inch MacBook Pro in November 2019, and second-generation AirPods in March 2019.
Last month, cryptic-yet-reliable Twitter user "L0vetodream" tweeted that there will be a "Christmas surprise from Apple," but it remains unclear which product(s) might be announced next Tuesday, if any. There have been countless rumors about Apple's item tracking AirTags, AirPods-branded over-ear headphones, and a new Apple TV with a gaming controller, but it is unclear if any of these products are ready to launch in 2020.
Given that AppleCare changes are expected, it is likely that any product(s) announced next Tuesday would have AppleCare+ coverage available, so we could be looking at new hardware. However, in the interest of tempering expectations, it is possible that the announcement could be for a minor accessory, or that no announcement transpires at all.
All in all, we'll be keeping our eyes on the Apple Newsroom for a potential announcement next Tuesday at 5:30 a.m. Pacific Time.

Or, hear me out, they have no imminent plans for a redesign. When Apple introduce the space gray Mac mini in 2018, they said that they did it so the design would look more professional.
just like the space gray iMac Pro in 2017.
The Intel models that exist still are space gray, because they have more professional specifications, like four thunderbolt ports, and 10 Gb ethernet.
The Apple silicon models of the Mac mini don’t have the higher end specifications, so they stick with the silver enclosure.
the battery life on my iPad was never as good as they say it would be..It always drained I barely use it now, just basically holding off doing much of anything with it til the new iPad Pro comes out then will trade it in, I checked apple trade in they would give 400 bucks for it. In normal times I would put my ipad on craigslist like I used to do, but now obviously cantHave you noticed your 2018 battery life starting to suffer a bit? Every since iOS 14 mine has been struggling a little. Still as smooth as glass but it doesn't hold its charge nearly as well as it used to.
Yeah, I feel you. For all of the awful that was iOS 13, I got great battery life on my 2018 iPad Pro. Ever since moving to iOS 14 it was never the same. I guess that's the price that's paid when you aren't using the chip optimized for the OS, but I refuse to upgrade every year. Its gotten fairly bad now though as I have to charge it at least once daily or it will run out. I'll definitely be upgrading when the new one comes out as well.the battery life on my iPad was never as good as they say it would be..It always drained I barely use it now, just basically holding off doing much of anything with it til the new iPad Pro comes out then will trade it in, I checked apple trade in they would give 400 bucks for it. I’m kind of hoping when they do the (massive?) redesign for the 14/16” AS Macs they go back to PowerBook. The G5 PowerBook.
