Yeah, I feel you. For all of the awful that was iOS 13, I got great battery life on my 2018 iPad Pro. Ever since moving to iOS 14 it was never the same. I guess that's the price that's paid when you aren't using the chip optimized for the OS, but I refuse to upgrade every year. Its gotten fairly bad now though as I have to charge it at least once daily or it will run out. I'll definitely be upgrading when the new one comes out as well.
Apple gives 400 bucks in a gift card for the one that I have..256GB 11 inch..not sure what it will be in March but whatever it is it is cant go and meet people to sell like I used to so 400 bucks will be worth it

I hope its an iPod mini with the newest chip. It might be something people could see as a personal xmas present. So it probably needs to be under $500 or way under. I don't see anything bigger than some sort of iPad refresh on one of the models still running older chips.

How about an TV where i can use Facetime on, or one that truly gives me a reason to actually use it for something beside the cool screensaver while i listen to music.. yes, i have an TV and use it just because of the screensaver ..
Go ahead and judge me.

Mac Pro
- M1xxx 64 core 5.2 Ghz
- 128 PCIe 5.0 Lanes
- 2TB RAM limit DDR5
- Dedicated 250W GPU based off that in the M1 faster than the GTX 3090 in FP32 and AMD MI100 in FP64
- Dedicated Neural Engine card.

Anything less and Apple will have let us down.😜

Yeah, this would happen if Apple somehow was able to skip right past this COVID-era through a wormhole, steal future technology, and then come back through the wormhole, just in time to get reinfected with COVID-19 and then release this insane specced out Mac Pro.....

I am 99% sure that Apple will most likely release a new 16" Intel Macbook.

-Apple has a roadmap that they follow religiously with previously a new 15", now 16" released every year and it has been more than a year since the Nov 16" release (probably due to covid delays).
-There have been Big Sur software leaks indicating a new intel supported Mac.
-This is going to be a minor stop gap update to the 16" since if the 16" was ready for a silicon release they would have done so in the big Silicon Air / 13" / Mac Mini event.

-Apple will probably release the update with 10th gen intel cpus that people won't want to buy because of Silicon's better performance.

-Apple could release a kickass 5700m option along with wifi 6 which would be the only saving grace for this Macbook since the cpu will be outdated the day it comes out.

I suspect Apple Fitness+ will be launching next Tuesday too then, given that another WatchOS beta hit this week too
I agree. On the Apple website is says that Apple Fitness+ is 'Coming late 2020'. It also makes sense from the standpoint that it was already given a complete introduction during Apple's September 15 event, so there would be no need for big fancy show to release it.

However I'm not sure how this would fit with the Apple Care aspect of this, or the expectation of new SKUs, since Fitness + is strictly a software product. Or maybe there will be hardware or accessories that are introduced to go with the Fitness activities?

I don't see Apple 'press releasing' a new product line such as tags or headphones - they are 'event' releases. Certainly an updated Apple TV or AirPods 3.0 fit the bill easily.

Finally a MBP with Blu-Ray. Can't innovate my azz.
I’m about to piss off all the people who wanna clench onto their physical media until the end of time.
Blu-ray is a doomed technology!
DVD is on the way out!
CD’s haven’t been relevant in years!
In fact, buying movies, music, and TV shows is slowly dying.
It’s all streaming.
It’s all about convenience. Blu-ray might be higher quality than streaming, but Betamax was higher quality than VHS, and we know which one won that war.
I guarantee you that by 2025, Blu-rays will be a niche market, just like how vinyl and CD’s are a niche market.

While I don’t think that it’s AirPods Studio, I can’t deny that the AirPods Pro were announced via a press release last year, with absolutely no fanfare. So it’s not that unlikely.
It’s either a 16 inch MacBook Pro or AirTags.
Those are the only two devices that Apple has specifically mentioned in recent iOS 14.3 code, in the case of the air tags, and the latest final cut pro release notes, in the case of a late 2020 MacBook Pro 16 inch.
The last we heard about a new Apple TV was back in the summer, and it was set for the first half of next year, with either an A12X or A14X processor and a new remote.
But there has been betas for tvOS14.3, but no new lines of code for updated Apple TV models, so if that was coming, I feel like we would’ve heard about it by now.
As for a new full-size HomePod, A new iPad mini, or any other product that has been suggested in this thread, not a chance.
