The Ford T , started at around $800, following year hit $900 and last version sold for $360 in about 20 years. It actually dropped in price by over 50% during its cycle.

Mine is nice and straight so I’m not not upset. But if was bent I’d certainly be upset. And I’m definitely not trading my wife’s iPad Pro for this one. She swings hers all over the bed and the couch. This one I would say is too fragile for the masses. It’s for people who use it as an expensive fragile tool. I’m really surprised at why they made this as fragile as they did.
I bought a couple of drawing stands for it on amazon after seeing the bend videos.

The bottom line is that portable devices like the iPad are more ergonomic when they are light. Battery life, durability, and weight is all a compromise with a thin line. I'm sure Apple thinks they have it right so we'll just have to wait to see how it plays out.
