No USB-C either. Even though they ship computers with only USB-C ports.

Lord, the nerve of that company trying to make lots of money. Never seen such cheek!Yep! More greed!
So in one hand "apple removes the jack" <it's for the future the jack is old tech> <BT is better who uses the jack, cables bleh>Fast chargers are cool but degrade the battery faster, and the majority of people aren’t using USB-C yet. They’ll make the transition eventually.
“Strategy” that may suddenly become reversed when they can’t get their business authorised in India because of some missing wires. Happy shopping in Hungbullabhad !I’m sure most people will look at this move as simply a greedy move (which it may partially be), but if Apple truly feels the future is wireless, it makes sense to eliminate the adapter and continue to push things forward. Imagine if Apple had included a USB floppy drive with every original iMac sold - it would have undercut their message that the floppy is dead.
I think that would only happen if they bundled a wireless charger, which is a possibility if they got rid of the Lightning port. They just include the essentials with the phone, and people wouldn’t be too happy having to buy an extra accessory just to charge it.
They include Lightning EarPods and sell AirPods so the adapter was becoming unnecessary.
Even as an audiophile I have both Lighting headphones from Audeze as well as Bluetooth headphones (AirPods, Solo3, etc.) so it makes sense they want to push people towards Bluetooth and Lightning options.
Since the headphone jack was removed from the iPhone with the launch of the iPhone 7, Apple has bundled iPhones with a Lightning to 3.5mm Headphone Jack Adapter for customers who continue to have 3.5mm headphones.
With the launch of the iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, and iPhone XR, Apple is discontinuing this practice and will not include the Lightning to 3.5mm Headphone Jack Adapter.

On the "In the Box" section of the iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, and iPhone XR tech specs, no adapter is listed. The three devices will ship with EarPods with Lightning Connector, a Lightning to USB Cable, and a USB Power Adapter.
Apple's new iPhone lineup also marks the discontinuation of the iPhone 6s and the iPhone SE, the last two iPhones that Apple sold with a headphone jack.
None of the headphones in the new lineup, which includes the iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, iPhone XR, iPhone 8, and iPhone 7, have a headphone jack.
Apple is continuing to sell the Lightning to 3.5mm Headphone Jack Adapter separately for $9.

The logic is... profits. They should not include that s**** charger and worthless headphones. Also whats with USBA cable. There is just no logic here...
Yeah they're great at marketing. Also a sign that Apple is a company producing products and services that a lot of people want and are willing to pay for.

You think SJ wasn't a greedy capitalist? Apple has always been and will always will be about money.
I mean, they are a business and what not.
