What is this “luxury loft mansion in New York City”? Are there pictures of it?

Can we get a high-end GPU, 32G, 2TB for $3200 or $3400? Though assuming this machine is a significant improvement over the current machines GPU-wise I might just go all in for the 4TB.

Is $2,000 worth the amount of dislike I have for the current keyboard I own on the 12" MB?

It (almost) all comes down to the keyboard.

Wonder if Apple is finally listening to customers. I’m not highly confident.

Few thing I’m hoping to see.
1.People complaining on the specs.
2.People complaining on the price.
3.People just complaining.
4.Drop in price on the 13” MacBook for us peasants.
5. This post getting 5 likes.
lol.

I was ”Like” #5. FTW. ;)

Not very likely. With the 2TB, it sounds more like a $4,200 machine to me.

Especially with the new larger screen just being introduced, I think it’s the wrong time to expect a 20-30% price cut.

PS Do you expect new GPUs in this model? I don’t, but it’s possible.

Okay 4k with those specs then? I'm hoping for at least some sort of bump over the Vega 20 that's in the 2019 models. Maybe the Navi or at ram bump from the 4g Vega's? Something at least slightly faster.

Sadly this is limited to 60 watts. Griffin showed off a 100W USB-C BreakSafe model at 2017 CES, but I can't find any evidence that they ever launched the product.
Shoot! I may have linked to the wrong one. My bad.

I use one with my 2017 15" MBP and it's worked fine.

It's funny how I've seen many similar responses. I feel bad that I don't articulate it correctly cause I don't want to create forum tension. I should have said "USB-C MagSafe like the one Griffin makes". I want a magnetic connector so I don't have to buy a new laptop if I accidentally trip over the cable (no one is perfect), and Tim Cook knows that replacement laptops are an excellent revenue source.
Haha no don't feel bad! Don't get me wrong, I too would love to see MagSafe make a comeback. I just don't reasonably think it'll ever happen. And if anyone gets that up in arms over discussion of a computer cable that it makes for "tension", then I have no interest in having a conversation with them 🙄

You're probably right about the revenue thing, except that I would add Apple Care+ is where they get a ton of their revenue too.

I'm in. Replacing my 2012 MB Pro. Hoping they bring back MagSafe along with the retro keyboard.
If they don’t, you can buy a “MagSafe” adapter for your USB plug that makes it function the same as the good ol’ days.

Edit: Looks like I missed a few comments. I’m with you on missing the MagSafe adapter, even though the connection wore down pretty fast. That thing saved my laptop more times than I can count.

the faster these come out, and the faster they release the new 14 inch to follow, the faster I can wait for version 2 and get a laptop that is made after 2015 happily :)
