I do agree that a 4.7" screen in an SE2 would work, but I can't see Apple bothering to serve such a niche market.
So just get the Xr which is 6.1". I'd be astonished if Apple released an 'Xr mini' which shaves just an inch off the screen size.
No, it doesn't! This is what Steve Jobs ALWAYS cautioned against... what the market 'thinks' it wants.
Steve also said that 3.5" was the perfect size, so he wasn't always right.
People want bigger screens. There's a reason why 100s of millions of smart phones at 5" or more are sold every month globally. People love them or they wouldn't buy them. Now the bezels and chins are shrinking on phones it's making for some exceptional devices from all manufacturers.
Remember this is all coming from Apple's VP of product marketing lol. He knows how to talk a lot of crap and add some spin after all the negative press about sales number for the new iPhones.
Show the official numbers if its selling so well.
The market demands bigger screens, not smaller.
The sooner the 5s & SE become obsolete the better.
So just get an iPhone Xr or 7 then. Why re-invent the wheel?
You can infer from websites such as Mixpanel, which tracks how many phones were turned on and used.Wait......I thought Apple wasn't going to release iPhone unit sales anymore? How does anyone know which model sells more than the others?

Popular in a negative way. I live in London and I didn't see anyone with it yet, maybe I've been just unlucky..but I still see more people with SE and iPhone 7/8... Too big, pity it hasn't the same size of the iPhone 7/8.

Except that it puts to rest the rumors that buyers were choosing iPhone 8 over iPhone Xr.This is true. But if this statement was to quell the rumors of the production slow down, it doesn’t inspire much confidence because it’s an empty statement when put into context.
How about if Tim Cook is still at Apple in 24 months you are no longer present at MacRumors?
no, sounds more like a disasterSo Apple likely ordered production increases instead of cuts.![]()
Thanks for the info. But how do you know the data is accurate? You can infer from websites such as Mixpanel, which tracks how many phones were turned on and used.

Only for those who still believe Apple Press Releases.![]()
Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. I think she's an ugly duck. The iPhone XR is a beautiful device. Enough said.
That's a ridiculous statement.
Apple wouldn't risk a fine from the SEC for making materially false statements.
iPhone Xr sales numbers were coming in when Apple issued record guidance for the holiday quarter.
You don't.Thanks for the info. But how do you know the data is accurate?
