Apple's Online Store Down Ahead of iPhone 7 and Apple Watch Series 2 Pre-Orders

Ordered my AW Series 2 in the iPhone app while ordering my iPhone 7 Plus 128GB Jet Black and my wife's iPhone 7 32GB Gold on speakerphone with T-Mobile. 
256 7+ Jet black delivering Oct 4 - 10 .. and I was refreshing store on multiple devices. .. more than I expected.
Slightly freaked out, I got a reservation number as I joined the upgrade program through apple and got a reservation number for each of the phones but didn't get an email and the reservation number doesn't register with the system... Too soon or bad news?
Well that's a fail on apple's part. I click c'lick here to reserve iPhone and collect in store through upgrade programme' and it just takes me to apple.com. This is coming from the UK site.
you could not reserve a jet black 7 plus there Apple upgrade program, it was out of stock in a second...those that are getting it I think are buying the phone...correct?

Ordered on the phone with T-Mobile and it will be delivered on the 16th.
Ordered 7 rose gold 256 and 7+ 256 black thru new upgrade program order says delivers sept 16th.
But I won't be home that day and wouldn't let me change shipping address. Hope I can do that. Really wish they would allow for you to designate an apple store pickup location like they did back for the 3GS I was in minnesota and it was one of the easiest iPhone preorders ever.

I ordered a 256GB 7+ in the UK in Black (Not Jet Black) and it wasn't in stock. Did it on the app with Apple Pay and my order confirmation came a minute later (8:04). Either this phone is hugely popular or they have sod all stock.
I suspect the whole launching in so many countries so quickly might be the issue... It used to launch in just like 6 odd countries for the first week.
I got a reservation number for a 128 jet black and a rose gold... But didn't get an email, got reservation numbers but....
iPad app worked while iPhone and two PC browsers did not. 128 GB Jet Black through the upgrade program. Also, black millanese series 2 watch.
Ditto. I was able to get my wife's 7 black 128 verizon for pickup right away, but when I tried mine a minute later, the black and jet black were sold out already. Now the Apple Store says "We’re not taking any more reservations to upgrade your iPhone right now."
LOL!! I could not agree more, utter waste...you could only reserve rose gold, gold and silver the moment it went live for 7plus...that is utter CRAP!!Well, sure glad I used the iPhone upgrade program last year...
So fun to come every every year and watch the flail and spasms; relax folks. All these shipping dates sort themselves about over the next week. I bet you all get your preciouses on release day.
Same with me. Said it "couldn't contact my carrier right now" and gave me a reservation number and said it sent me an email... but no email. Luckily I took a screenshot of the reservation number!
What a bloodbath that was. I should not have clicked on Jet Black just to see. It cost me a launch day phone. Wife is getting gold 7 plus 128 on launch, my regular black will be the 27th.
