Processor bumps on MacBook 12's and Macbook Pro's would be nice. Same for iMacs but finally no HDD's. Same with the iPad Mini 5, keep the form factor, bump the A-Series.
It would be nice if Apple would keep it's simply 3 notebook lineup but even twice per year bump the processors.
I don't know why I don't feel excited anything Apple announcements anymore. Either I'm getting or got tired of their boring products and the price that keeping getting higher.
You've caught MacRumors-itis, intense feelings of negativity and grass is greener mentality... I reckon it's some sort of new, subliminal technology in Google Ads...
If any new products are released it’ll be interesting to the pricing in the U.K.
Am expecting to see some prices increases here.
I don't think the UK will, don't believe what your hear on the news about the economy or Brexit... Thankfully Apple and the US is free from EU bs. And going forward, no bullying measures from the EU like taxes from incoming Apple gear from the US / China!
I know there’s no real convenient time to disconnect the Apple store, but it must be annoying for those who are across the world who have different time zones want to make purchases, where it’s takes this long for it to be brought back online. One thing I would like to see Apple change in the future, is maybe how they implement their server take down where it’s minimal or something like Amazon, where it’s updated without having to have any interruption.
That's true. Definitely for hype, but I wish it was up already! But this is what Apple wants, suspense and excitement!!!
The upcoming week event will be an hour of half of series trailers, thats for sure. Next year, the "one more thing" product will be a new season of some random show. Im not sure that Im happy with this. Apple should focus they effort on technology, R&D, new products and perfecting existing products. Being content producer is not really something that may excite you about the future.
Yeah I miss Apple solely being focused on the best computer products and services focussed on making them work better like MobileMe and such.
iPad Pro's are still just blown up iPhones as long as they run iOS. Even then they would need mouse, keyboard a USB port and a thunderbolt port. I don't see that happening anytime soon. Remember, the ONLY reason they even created iPad Pro with pen support is in reaction to the Surface Pro, just like the touch bar was a reaction to touchscreen laptops
All Apple would have to do is create a tablet with MacOS on it, sell it for $2000 dollars and reap the cash flow I guarantee would come from it. They aren't worried about it over taking there computer products and probably would be happier if that did so they didn't have to worry about them anymore but right now it's just because they know you will buy both devices and they can make more money.
Have you ever used Affinity Photo on iPad? .. And the Apple Pencil is being insulted to be compared to the Surface Pen. A tablet with macOS on it? ...see countless other discussions on why it's a bad idea. There was a thing called the ModBook ten years ago... go look at that. The product was in market, and it didn't take off.. what does that tell you?
Overtaking competitors? They never overtook the Surface Pro because the Surface pro was never anywhere near the iPad's sales.... and nor will it ever be if you've looked at the latest figures.
Then you have a misconception of understanding business 101, because this is a poor practice. Anyone here knows Apple does this on purpose for marketing, let alone, you never acknowledged Amazon doesn’t need to take their store offline for XYZ amount of hours, it has nothing to do with ‘first world problems’, is everything to do with it still inconveniencing for those across the world who want to make a purchase that can’t for grandstanding causes. Case in point.
Apple's marketing and brand is ten times that of Amazon. Amazon wouldn't get away with it, and it's competition (eBay etc, other smart speaker makers..etc) are actually on a similar level as it.
I wish they wouldn't make us wait so long, but it's far from a silly practice. It's achieving exactly what they want: hype.
