Apple's UK Online Store Lists August 28th Ship Date for Snow Leopard Up-to-Date Program

Ordered it when they announced the up to date program, my card was charged yesterday, check delivery details and it says shipping 28th August.
I am I going mad!? I cannot find where I can pre-order SL on the UK website as part of the uptodate programme!

But there are only a few days between the release of the 432A build and the 28th of August. 432A must be the GM!

go to the up-to-date webpage if you qualify for the update and you can get it there
does that mean the rest of us have to wait as I got my mac at the start of the year. I assume they check etc

It's more like they're testing things probably and my I guess it's deliberate as well to create a even bigger hype than it already was.
Am I being stupid here, but how do you actually order it? There doesn't seem to be anywhere to buy it!

My credit card was pre-authorized last week and has changed to the full amount over night for two up-to-date copies on separate orders. I expect they will be awaiting my arrival home in the states next Friday (28th). The Brits really get shafted with their price of £7.95 which is now $13.03. But in all due deference, the Queen gets 17.5% VAT where we in the US can get hit with 8% sales tax with 10% usually a top rate. Thus my delivered price with tax is $10.51 or £6.41. They also get preferential inflated pricing for all the gear as well.

I'm in the UK and I had to mail in the forms when I ordered for up-to-date as online wasn't working. If I check the status via up-to-date it says that they received and approved my application and I will be charged when they ship. If I log into my account on the Apple Store, there is no note of an order at all - is this correct? Should I have something in my store account? No activity on my CC yet.
I bought my brand new, sealed Macbook Pro 13 from an Ebay seller in the UK. It was obviously post June 8th 2009, but the question is how do I get my copy of the OS? it only seems to be for those who bought through the official channels.
