They updated this again yesterday and I think the controls feel much nicer!

Try to drive the car in rear view mode (where you can see the whole car in front of you), it is still hard as hell to drive.

The graphic update is phenomenal though, the clouds and trees look amazing!

Edit: the only movement of the phone that controls the car is the side to side of the accelerometer. Gyro influence, if any, appears minimal.

Play two songs simultaneously on iphone?

Hey,

Does anyone know an app for the iphone that allows you to play two songs at the same time? I would like to use it for background-music when I’m listening to Audio books. Multitasking - hell yeah!

Peace,
::andreas

ComicZeal has finally been updated for the iPhone4!! By far the best comic reader. Glad they brought back usb sync.

No, it's been updated for iOS 4 (has fast app switching and USB sync) but the graphics have not been updated for the iPhone 4.

I'm pretty disappointed with how many apps HAVEN'T ben updated for the retina display yet. It's been almost two weeks now. :(

Almost every app I use on a regular basis has been updated for the retina display.

AMAZON MOBILE: updated for the retina display and a few other updates! Pretty nice because I just used it earlier today when buying a router and really was able to appreciate the difference before and after.

Movies Now is now retina display friendly. By far the best looking cinema time app there is, and you can also buy tickets through it as well.
Recommended!

The amazon app is nice for looking for doesnt allow you to purchase most items. Pretty silly imo

We've been having way too much fun with Incredibooth, which uses the forward facing camera to snap 4 pix in succession and then "spits out" a photo booth film strip.

From the same folks that brought us the Hipstamatic app (which it looks like was finally updated today - sweet!).

Same here, incredibly fun. Amazed at the value you get for a buck. Awesome to share on facebook too. So simple and well designed. I hope they release an updated Hipstamatic for the iPhone 4.

What are all the apps that can use the external display capability? Anything beyond Youtube, Photos and the sort?

I think a lot of us need to accept the idea that some apps simply won't recieve iOS4 / iPhone 4 updates. I'm a professional software developer myself, and I think perhaps its not widely recognised in some quarters, just how time consuming it can be. Added to that, when done in people's spare time, and (being an update) where there's no financial incentive involved :(

Of course there is financial incentive...I only bought real racing and a couple other apps because they were updated for the retina display.

I'm frequently looking through the special iOS4 list to see if anything's updated for the iPhone 4's display and graphics. I think perhaps not many developers realise the sales spike an update would get from people like me - and also the publicity it would get on say toucharcade, or these forums.

Come on devs! Upgrading your app is inevitable in the long-term, but the sooner you do it the more reward you'll get for it!

True - I myself just bought Real Racing too ;) That said though, I don't think it would be that big a spike, compared to the initial sales. Especially with apps that have already been successful (not to imply that Real Racing wasn't successful). I would be very interested to see the figures though. It could be argued that there would be more of an incentive to develop new apps, to generate a fresh round of sales.
