Quick look uses quicktime api just install xvid plugin for quicktime

Isn't that what Perian is supposed to be? Well I solved it, sort of. When I installed Toast Titanium it had asked me whether I wanted to install DivX or not. So I'm guessing that it has been using that instead of Perian all this while. When I deleted the DivX component from my library, Quick Look worked :)

Apparently Cisco's VPN client will not work with Leopard, meaning anyone who relies on that will have to wait for Cisco to release an update.

EDIT: On further consideration, this might not be true. My University posted a warning that the VPN client wouldn't work with Leopard (just as the old version didn't work with Tiger), but they have removed that warning from their site now.

Not true. I downloaded version 4.9.01 from MacUpdate and it works like a champ. This version came out in July.

I can't get SmartScrollX (iPhone like coasting) and Safari Extender (multiple tab loading) to work. PithHelmet either.

Same here and this is the case with PlugSuit... Inquisitor works as previously mentioned, however. I just get this error message when attempting to do so.

For me personally, PithHelmet is a must-have application as I've seen plenty of filthy ads. Been trying all sorts of things but will let anyone know if I see any progress.

Alien Skin Photoshop Plugins have issues with Leopard. The Exposure Plugin I use crashes Photoshop consistently under Leopard.

I have updated the Wiki accordingly.

Anybody else having problems with some dropdown boxes in Firefox? I have been seeing problems since the developer builds.

Just to let you know, I got this back from an e-mail to Unsanity about Application Enhancer:

We are hard at work getting Application Enhancer and our haxies compatible with Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard! We're not quite there yet, but we're fast on track to a Leopard release.
Hopefully it won't be too long...

VMWare Fusion Appears to work

I just updated and I also have uploaded the latest V1.1 Beat Release Candidate which supports 10.5 and I have not had any problems yet, I heavily use it for several applications. Hope this helps

The Airport Radar widget doesn't seem to be working properly on my 12" Powerbook. Shows letters instead of numbers for channels, doesn't show strength bar anymore. I ended up yanking it from the dashboard. The third party piano theory widget doesn't work either.

Also, Mail needs some work. Letters sent with stationery don't look right when the recipient gets them. Some buttons were unresponsive. I hit the create mail button about 10 times and nothing happened. About fifteen minutes later 10 compose mail windows popped up one after the other.

MAMP doesn't seem to be working for me. It connects to the servers, but when I try to load a page the PHP shows up as text or it doesn't load at all. Is anybody else having this problem?

Mira IR controller does not work. The software appears to run fine. But when you go to use the remote (with their IR receiver) it does not respond. It pairs with the software fine but thats it. I don't know if it would work on a apple IR port vs a mira IR receiver.

Google Earth

Apparently Google Earth doesn't work in Leopard but that is only what I have heard via word of mouth, nothing official yet.

Oh and Papers, they have some minor issues with Leopard and they are fixing it in 1.5

Yep Google Earth does not work in leopard. I am a map junkie and I need my fix.

Capture One Pro 3.7.7

Can anyone confirm that the Capture One Pro 3.7.7 Installer unexpectedly quits? Downloaded from here

Although I ve finally managed installing it manually by "show package contents" and drag'n'drop, if someone has the installer and can confirm... PLZ

Thanks for the updates, everyone!

To keep this thread as useful as possible:

1. Ideally, before you post an app that isn't working for you, fire off a quick email to the developer to see what they say re: compatibility with Leopard. that'll help us to know if it's a problem with your specific machine or a problem that will affect everyone.

2. Remember to post in the guide as well as on the thread.

Thanks!
